that really is a bad place.. all the businesses closed after several months. where did korma sutra resto go?
Damn... never got to try. Sound's like a unique place. There's some really good burgers off MLK and 610. Forgot the name but it's a tin shack. So hood.
quick story: a family friend is on the planning committee for one of the city's biggest charity fun runs, and they have a huge, huge food deal where a bunch of local restaurants are invited to hand out their goods to the masses (an unbelievable marketing opportunity for them). anyway, a couple years ago, burger guys committed, so a huge tent was reserved/rented for them, and a banner was purchased for them (in addition to their logo being printed on the fun run fliers, t-shirts, etc). day of the event: without any warning, communications, etc, they didn't show up. cost the charity money, prevented another restaurant from being able to come in their stead, etc. NEVER apologized, never said a single thing, no excuses, no communication. They were emailed telling them how awful it was that they did what they did, and suggested that at least donate money to the charity to at least cover the costs of what they effed over the charity for. No response. Just ignored emails. That window sign just reinforces how dumb they are. Just because you can cook a burger doesn't mean you have the brains to do anything else in life. Not a shocker that they failed.
Went here once. Just terrible customer service. They acted like they didn't care at all about their customers and the prices were very high for what you got. Can't say I'm surprised but hope they get their act together somewhere down the line.
