Hahhahaha, you know growing up in H-town when I first got into Houston Rap, I thought it was just about the most hardcore/amazing piece of rap genre I've ever heard in my teenage life. This was back in the 90s of course. Now listening to it now in my 30s, it really is just nostalgia and I've kinda grown out of it. Nowadays I don't or hardly listen to this sort of music or just music in general. I'm more into listening to AM/radio/Sirius talk/podcast and such. Damn maybe it's because I'm old and lame?

Thou shall not sippeth lean. Have you not considered maybe those are the types of things/culture he grew up around? Personally i think it's awesome that he came from the background that he did to sitting in a suite with the mayor of Houston. He's come a long way and i have nothing but respect for him.
