    I agree with the above.

No star player can be stopped in this league. You can only contain them. I would be more concern about the Heat's thin bench heading into the playoff. Defense will go up a notch with some low scoring in the 80-90pt range. With that said, a team with a deep bench is beneficial. The Bulls and Celtics have that type of bench. What's the Heat record against the top 5 team coming in? Wasn't it 1-6 or 1-7? How about their record in close game situation...wasn't it like 1-10? They need to improve on those before even thinking of crowning Lebron MVP. 3 star play can't win all by themselves against top tier team, unless they start playing moving the ball and not watching them.

I meant Eastern Conference. Today I'm answering my company's 800 number from home and I also have two people out. Probably shouldn't even be on the site today but can't help myself. Can't wait until things die down.

he probably meant best record in the Eastern conference... which I also think is likely. The key to Miami winning the East and the championship is simply getting haslem and mike miller back, healthy and fully integrated into the offense. If that happens, and its big if, since Millers healed thumb isnt suppose to feel normal till next year and integrating either players into the offense is alot easier said than done.

Incorrect. Rose took the defending champs, who were without their defensive anchor KG, to a 7 game series in 2009.

I still agree that the final two rounds of the East playoffs will be great this year.

The No.1 vs No.4 matchup might not be all that great. Depends.

if it's boston vs orlando, it will be a damn good matchup now that perkins is gone.

if it's atlanta, then yea, it's going to be boring.

I've lost regard for the Magic. They've been running in place for a while now. Unless Gilbert snaps out of it or another player really takes it up a notch, forget 'em. I think their organization and players know they don't measure up. It must be particularly galling that the Heat and now the Bulls have passed them by.
