you are forgetting boston. they're a legit finals contender, but i don't think they can beat miami or boston in a 7 game series.
Heat are like 1-7 against the top teams in the league and Boston has the best record in the east with a good record against the top teams. How are they better than Boston?
Personally i see the Heat and Celtics as the favorites to come out of the east, followed by the bulls and magic. I'd feel better about the Bulls had they pick up a sg who can actually shoot as well as play defense. Right now they either got bogans or Brewer to play defense or Korver to shoot... wouldnt it have made sense for the bulls to offer the rockets a 1st round pick + fillers for shane battier (maybe include a 2nd if its not enough)? Maybe its just me, but id rather have battier than Lee if I were the Bulls.
I m with you especially after the Celtics traded Perkins and Robinson. The Bulls will win the East simply because they are a complete team and great defensive team too!
What a terrible game by Bosh. This is why he's no superstar and has to ride the tails of Lebron and Wade.
it wasn't just bosh's 1-18 that hurt the heat. their bench scored 2 freakin' pts. this was a similar game to tracy-yao vs jazz playoff game where it was just a 2 man show the heat should be fine vs the bulls. they played like that and lost by a 3pt shot. i still think their main concern is the celtics.
And the two role players who also happens to be the two next best players, whom you were counting on most, are both out with injuries... cough Haslem cough Miller.
