The Chicago Bulls are quietly preparing field for blockbuster trade with Houston Rockets. The Bulls are desperately searching for more effective player than Carlos Boozer.

Luis Scola doesn’t have the same offensive upside as Boozer does, the Bulls have other members of the team to score, and Scola is a more productive rebounder and finisher around the rim than Boozer showed at any point during his inaugural season with the Bulls.

Are Houston Rockets willing to give up on their best player last season in order to make some changes and step forward in Western conference?

Would rather aim for the lottery than take on Boozer.

BS, those rumors out of Chicago are always the most ludicrous.

2011 Salaries are below...I believe both have 4 more years left on their contracts.

    Scola $8,591,793
    Booz $13,500,000

Hopefully this is a three team trade with some other team taking on Boozer.

That would be big for the Bulls if they get him.

    Rose
    Noah
    Luis

    Wow.

If we can get Noah instead that would be ooohsome. ;)

Someone explain why Morey would take Boozer in exchange for Scola.

I like the Bulls and would love for them to trade Boozer and get better (to anyone but the Rockets).

If Boozer didn't have injury concerns i'd be all over this trade but i'd probably pass at this point. Boozer isn't the same player he once was.

Why in the hell would we do this trade? Throw in Asik and we'll talk.

Wow. This trade would be perfect for the Bulls if they can pull it off. Scola would be a great fit with the Bulls (scrappy & hardworking) and would look great in a Bulls uniform.

I would do the trade if Morey can get a few young prospects (Omer Asik?) and/or 1st round draft picks from a crappy 3rd team. Scola deserves a chance on a contender anyways.

No thanks on the straight up trade. Would Asik make it worthwhile?

So they want to trade a broken down player undeserving of his max level contract with 4 years tacked on to Morey?

That would not be a step forward.

    I vote no.
