18 points, 15 boards. 5 double doubles in a row. Made David Robinson look like a chump.

    Enough said.

Sorry, you can't just say that those are good stats "for someone 7'5"' and pretend that it means Yao isn't a good player. If I am not mistaken, Bradley is 7'6" and couldn't play well if his life depended on it.

Hmm....why don't we go through a list of other tall players (past or present) and see how well they are doing?

Manute Bol- 7'7", sucked except when blocking shots
    Bradley- 7'6", sucks
Ilguaskas- 7'3", pretty good, only 2 inches shorter than Yao, Yao will still put up better numbers and have a bigger impact
Sabonis- 7'3", this guy was perhaps better than Yao in his prime
    Bruno Sundov- 7'3" sucks
    Greg Osterag- 7'2" , sucks

And then here we come to Tyson Chandler, of the Chicago Bulls, 7 foot 1. This poster, from Chicago, having watched this guy who is taller than everybody completely suck, should realize that it takes a lot more than height to play in the NBA. It takes skill and quickness and good hands to grab over 10 boards a night. It takes excellent footwork, agility, and touch to score in double figures and over 60% in feild goal percentage night and night out.

Sorry, 4 inches isn't going to magically transform you into Yao Ming.

This guy tried to break it down, but he completely missed the point. Yao moves great for anybody over 7 feet. Not for a guy Allen Iverson's height, but he still shows more skill and quickenss than most 7 footers. Yao Ming would still be good even if he was only 7 foot 1, hell even if he was 6'10, judging from his passing ability.

I'd hate to see what this guy's analysis of Shaq's game is. He can't shoot from the outside, so I guess Shaq sucks, right?

Oh yeah, and I love how he says he would rather have Chandler because of his athletic ability.

Come on, he's 7 feet tall! Why can't he just go out there and grab some rebounds or something? Oh, he was just in high school? Well Yao was just in China, not exactly the toughest competition!

Good luck with Chandler and Curry, I think the rest of the world will enjoy packing stadiums for Yao Ming!

Then go to those boards and read them. You and Jamalccc need to get off of this 'other boards' trip you guys are on. If you want to post the links to other boards then that might be cool because it gets your point across but doesn't waste bandwidth(something I'm sure you haven't helped with), but don't cut and paste the entire articles from other boards. What's the point? so we can see what other rocket hater have to say? If we want to do that we'd go look...how are you contributing if you're just vomiting out other people's posts and saying..."oh,oh look at this, now discuss it!" Cmon. Thats not diversity, that crap. Put some work into your posts.

A meaningful one, telling both sidesof the story. One that we've been having before you came in. Tell why he's right or wrong. Isn't this a BBS all about??? Hey, you are the only one in this thread doing nothing but b****ing.

Ok, I used to think you are someone reasonable, now you are acting completely like an ass, seriously. If you don't like it, buzz off and we don't want you here. I can't make you happy, but there are people who want to discuss here. Just don't put your name in this thread again, ok? Don't like it? Then stay away from it. Be a severe rockets fan, not a severe ass.
