"The Derrick Rose breakup with the Bulls has begun." ruh roh! http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...-rumors-and-speculation-on-bulls-stars-future
Is gang r*ping chicks bad? Should he not have done that? Now that that is clear, everything should be good, right???
There is only one single team I can think of taking that bad contract. Brooklyn. As I explained in the Game Thread the Bulls FO has a pretty long history of being dirty and dragging through the mud in the local press who they want to get rid of. So if it indeed happens expect in the following year a lot of other dirty stuff to come to light by "leaks". Also except other stuff to come up from Rose's side. The fact is that Rose this year is playing like crap seems disinterested , doesn't follow the coach orders to attack the basket or hurry the pace and instead goes to the media and says "I'm pretty happy with how I pushed the pace". That was in a 20+ loss. He doesn't fit well in Hoidball and anyone should have expected it. He can't shoot and he doesn't pass well.
Trying to think of a team ineed of a PG, Utah? Don't know if they have the contracts or space to get it done.
Brookyln will have picks and are in need of a marquee player. Just have to make it work financially but that ain't my job!
No. They refused to trade for Lawson there's no way they take on Rose. They even have refused so far to take on a mid tier pg as a stop gap or even trade for Chalmers for free. They are determined to wait it out with Exum. They have no picks. But next year they will have tons and tons of capspace and most likely nowhere to spend it on -since next years FA is devoid of any good pg except for Conley who is almost guaranteed to resign with Memphis. And their biggest hole is PG. And their FO has shown time and time again to not be afraid of big contracts of "big names".
They won't have picks from being terrible this year? They gave those away too? smh. If they have the money, and Rose is looking for it then it seems like a good spot.
Seeing how Williams career fell apart there I feel like that would be awful place for Rose to go. He needs to go to Phoenix for that medical staff.
Very good point about Phx's training staff. Much better chance to be successful in the East though? And Brooklyn is much close to Chicago where Rose grew up. Brooklyn also has positional need.
Yeah. If I remember correctly it's a pick unprotected this year, a pick swap next year and another unprotected the year after. Doesn't matter. With how Rose is playing and with his injuries, and with his contract they can't expect to get much back anyway. Maybe in June they trade him to Brooklyn and they get Boston's pick from the pick swap and a coupld of second rounders. Someone should go ahead and just make a Bulls thread. There will be a lot of dirt coming up pretty soon if Rose fails to fit in his team. It's the M.O of that FO.
