I would take Deng but I doubt they're looking to dump salary.

Never heard of that site before.. I'd be skeptical of that rumor until one of the national writers picks up on it. Silas was said to be very high on Stephen Jackson, saying that he could be an all-star.

Plus, Sjax is on my fantasy team and moving to the Bulls would hurt him -- VETO!

WOW Jackson on the Bulls would make them even more dangerous. That would be a NICE move and their defense would be fantastic.

Why don't they go after Rip? Less volatile player... they really wanna stress a rookie head coach I guess.

The Nets were counting on Terrence Williams.

The Hornets needed a SF. I thought they could do better than Ariza for Collinson, who by the way has been lackluster in Indiana.

Your underrating Hill's defense. Gibson is a better perimeter defender and maybe a better shot blocker, but you can't forget that one of the most important things to have as a post player as strength, which when comparing Jordan to Gibson, Gibson just doesn't have the frame to ever be as strong as Jordan is/will be. There is a reason Jordan Hill was picked 8th for potential and Gibson was picked 26th even with a more established game.

From the article the pick is lottery protected, meaning you won't get it until CHA becomes decent.

I'd trade for Deng despite his ridiculous contract. Deng isn't really that bad, he's just overpaid. He's a pretty good two player, and is a good 3rd option on a contending team. Brooks, Scola, Kmart, Deng. All we really need is a shotblocking C and we're good to go.

Yeah, I addressed the protection in the very same post you quoted. That said, I've seemed to have a change of heart. I don't think we can afford to give up Miller right now. I'd swap him out with Battier and still consider the deal. Though that negates a chunk of the reason why CHI would want to do it.

Nothing wrong with having one offensive move if its decently effective. Kevin Willis only had a hook shot and played until he was 44 years old.

Gibson could fill into into Hill's place with the right trade. Gibson plays a little more alert and active than Hill. Though Gibson is already 25 years old, just 2 years older than Hilll but still... I don't see too much upside to Gibson.

Kevin Willis had a money jumpshot from top of the arc and had an uncanny ability to draw alot of fouls. There were night where he would give the Rockets 25 and 12. Offensively he was vastly underrated
