No, no, the comparison is Rose, Oneal and R. Miller (3 core players) plus better roll players (Indiana before the trade) versus Rose, Brand (2 core players) and mostly trash (the Bulls had they not traded Brand last year). If the former Indiana team couldn't even break 500 this year (with Oneal, Rose and Miller as the core plus decent role players) a Bulls team if they had kept Brand (Brand, Rose and not much else) would also be happy to be at 500.

How can you have a logjam at every position when youve failed to win more than 20 games consistently. I guess a logjam of crappy or real young players???

Certainly there doesnt have to be a win now attitude with every organization all the time. But you cant keep trading players year in and year out and expect to get better ever. Given Krause's track record, it is doubtful that both Curry and Chandler, much less both, will end up either being the great players expected of them or still with the Bulls in 5 years.

If things dont turn around there, the Bulls will end up in the kind of 7 to 12 year long slump the Warriors, Cavs, Nuggets and Grizzlies currently find themselves in (unfortunately for Rockets fans, they are only one more year of rebuilding away from that themselves). Will it be worth it if the Bulls win another championship or two (or three) sometime around 2010?? For the organization, possibly, but for fickle fans who often move from city to city nowadays anyway, seeing some sort of light at the end of the tunnel after 3-5 years of rebuilding has got to be a requirement, and its hard to see any at the end of the Bulls tunnel right now.
