Happens on most teams which is why people's arguments about developing players in practice fall apart. That being said ! Yao will play when he is ready...if he is ready, he should get on the court ASAP. He will be fine. DD
Yao officially out tonight! Per feigen's blog The inactive lists just came out and there is a shocker. No surprise on the Rockets' side. Yao Ming is inactive as expected. But Spurs blur Tony Parker is out. Left hip flexor strain. He played last night. It is a surprise that he had to be a late scratch tonight. Jonathan
...Is it possible for that inactive list to change? Aww, I was looking forward to Yao coming out, but then again putting him against TD might not've the best idea. But Parker out? I'll take that any day. Mmm...Beno Udrih.
Gene said on the radio pregame show that Yao's return was "imminent" and that they wanted to keep it a surprise. After hearing that it'll be a letdown if he doesn't play tonight. Oh well this coming week would be fine too.
