Peterson wore 43. "50" was Robert Reid and later Ralph Sampson. Shame on that second rounder Mobley for stealing Billy Paultz's #5. But perhaps the greatest and most recent number theft is that of Piatkowski "stealing" the thunder of the great Chuck Nevitt - #52.
Bullards gone. Live with it. Do you think this is bad karma? I personally could give a crap less about who wears 50. Cornell played hard. He didn't just sit around and wait for someone to pitch him the ball. Sheesh!!!
Bull was only on one of the championship teams and it is fair to say that Drexler contributed quite a bit more for a ring than Bull.
Man, you need to calm down. In another 50 years we won't have 100+ numbers b/c players like Bullard rarely come along, and I'm not saying Bullard's number needs to be reitred but at least give the number to someone like Pike. I think they should think twice before handing out any of the numbers of elie, cassell, maxwell, kenny smith, OT, or Bullard. So screw all of you sacrilegious fools. LONG LIVE BULLARD!!!
