if u guys are watching the rockets broadcast, bullard just gave props to larry smith. after talking about dekes rebounding, bull mentions when dream got hurt by cartwright, larry smith stepped in and averaged 14 boards a game.
I know so fans here hate larry smith when he was an iterim coach. but us ole timers and his teammates like bullard remember.

I saw Mr Mean about 6 weeks ago at a shady bar on Westheimer. I walked in, said Mr. Mean! and got a drink. I've seen Battier, Sura, Sikma, Horry, you name it, never really phased me. But when I saw Mr Mean it was immediate shock. Face made of stone.

Larry was great. He was a tough, tough player. He's not as great as your need to prove your Superfan status around here, but no doubt, Larry Smith was a good player for the Rockets.

I really dont hate Larry Smith I actually thought that Rocket team was one year away from the playoffs. I actually beleive they outplayed themselves that whole season.
