I agree with Will. I don't to hear about being "Built for the playoffs". It was a jinx, last year. ESPN's Swin Cash is saying we are not built for the playoffs and that we are built for the regular season. It's like the rights are contrarian investors. Each ESPN analyst thinks the Rockets are bad, and the Rockets end up playing well. Last year, when they were talking up the Rockets, the team ended up losing. Better, That is precisely my point, I don't subscribe at all to the "Built for the playoffs" type of team. These guys play together and a team like that can beat anyone. I love how everyone in the West got slower and brought in a low post player and the Rockets (because Yao is out) went the opposite direction. Heck, Phoenix probably wins it all last year if Amare stays on the bench during the Nash/Horry bumpathon. I know it is easy to say "Well we are at an easy point in the schedule" and that is 100% correct, but the team has been beating some good teams lately, and their confidence is soaring. Confidence and togetherness are rarities, and this team has them in spades.....there is no reason at all to discount this team and what it is capable of. Just sit back and enjoy the ride, they might just continue to surprise you. DD

One thing people need to remember is that we are still a very strong defensive team. Defense does win championships. I'm not saying we will do it but no one should discredit us because we can actually play consistent defense.
The topic discussed at this time is crime. It discredit and disrespect Rockets' great 18 win streak. In the History of NBA, only 6 teams ever got there except our beloved Rockets.It testifies everything out of the team, chemistry, confidence, leadship hardworking..... more important human nature Win-loss against west playoff teams: Since 1/1/2008: win 6 loss 2 whole season so far (2007-2008): win 12 loss 13.
We should all attempt to contain ourselves. Whatever mojo the Rockets have, must continue. Their juju is affecting the other teams, who play us and seem to become befuddled. It has affected the home crowd, who now appear to sense the Groovy Unnameable. Do not speak it. Do not tinker with our destiny.
