perfect president is the one who implements the policies I want. Why would i give a **** about education, background, ethics, or morality? The person could be an ******* and have no education as long as he implements legislation I approve of.
I would want one with an extensive education - This shows me he has a wide knowledge base and is able to problem solve, and accomplish challenging tasks. I would like him to govern based on a moral system. We don't support dictators. Use our economic strength as a reward to those that practice democracy, human rights, and strive towards greater enlightenment. Work with governments towards achieving that. I would like him to strive toward giving more power to people and less to special interests as much as his role permits.
It has always been my issue that . . . . people put in charge of various departments had no expertise in them Ben Carson is a brain surgeon . . but he over HUD???? Davos has no experience in education beyond buying a degree . . .but she is over Ed? She is OPENLY HOSTILE to the idea of Public Education! Rocket River
That sounds like a great reason to not have a president at all. If the jobs role is to just rubber stamp his party's policies (assuming that's what you mean).
Or to have a dictator who will implement exactly what you want, never mind our system of checks and balances and democracy.
Would be really nice if someone in high office was interested in fiscal responsibility (either party).
I don't even understand the D&D, all this is pointless debate it's more important to replace Carmelo than it is to fix the world
