Brooks has been traded, what, TWICE now? I doubt he wants to get screwed again by Morey I didn't include Daniels or Johnson because I assumed they were going to be back Andersen is decent but he gives you almost nothing on offense whereas DeJuan Blair can contribute on both sides of the court.
I am actually semi-okay with letting Parsons walk and then picking up Aminu as a starting SF. Morey said he felt he let everyone down regarding defense and he would re-tool to improve defense. Then with Aminu for the starters you have: BEV: Elite D Aminu: Really good D Harden: a minus on D Bosh: Really good D Howard: Elite D You get Aminu for $3-4 million / year. Then you can keep Terrence Jones to play back up PF to Bosh and back up PF when Bosh plays Back up C. The $10-12 million saved from going Aminu over Parsons can be spent on upgrading the bench. I hope there is someway we keep TJones. I know some people don't like him because he struggled on defense. But, he's a 22 yr old guy with talent. Bosh and TJones would be a great PF tandem. I would hate to lose Canaan also, I think he may turn out to be a good player.
If we can get him to come out of retirement AND invent a time machine to send him back in time 5-8 years, I would say that's a pretty good plan. Players get old and can't do the same things they did when they were younger.
For everyone suggesting Brooks, I have one question: Why would he sign another contract with the Rockets after being dealt away TWICE before?
Brooks loves it here..I wouldn't be surprised if he came back. Bev/Brooks/NJohnson Harden/Daniels/NJohnson CP/Garcia or Casspi Bosh/Rashard Lewis? Howard/Okafor? The problem will be finding bigs.

I would hate to see T. Jones leave and I feel bad about moving D-Mo too. DM should bring back Josh Powell, in case we can't get a backup 4 for Bosh. Hopefully all should go well. Bosh isn't worth the max, but there is no other way to get him. I hope Bosh will be rejuvenated, playing next to Howard.
He didn't want to leave Houston. He can still play an important role on a potential championship caliber team.
