did know where to put this...but Miami just released De'Sean Butler because he hasnt been cleared to play after his knee injury last season....i hope houston gives him a look right after he's cleared..might be the guy we need to step into that 3 spot with Bud when battier is done, without having to pay much or give up assets...he might be Blair 2.0
That's an awesome picture. I'm one of those that thinks Bud is underrated by a lot of users on this forum. I think he can definitely be an all-star. I think we can all agree that he's got the tools, but he's also a very hard-worker and according to his teammates, he's eager to learn and easy to teach... btw, how many years has he been in the league???
That's an awesome name on that pic as well. If he makes the leap to become an all-star, "Birdinger" would be perfect.
I think come playoff time, he will have developed into a dangerous player. He looked very good last night. With Battier's inevitable decline, Chase's minutes will increase and the added experience will be invaluable. He's good folks...
Agreed. I think Slick Rick was trying to prevent Kobe from going into beast mode as he typically does in the 2nd half. Shane wouldn't have been able to stop him anyway...
He probably should have been in there later in the game. I think as the season progresses, we will see less Shane and more Bud during crunch time.
Experience wise, it makes perfect sense to have Battier instead of Chase in crunch time. Things might change as the season progresses, but I'll trust Battier to in bound the ball over chase any day at this stage.
I'd say his ceiling, meaning the best he could possibly be if he realized all his potential, is probably All-Star. I think he'll probably end up being a rock solid role player, though. Meaning a good starting SF or 6th man, 17/7 kinda guy.
