So defense is apparently apparently not a fundamental part of basketball? Got it. Never knew that before. Thanks for enlightening me. I give you his lack of handles, not that there haven't been plenty of wing player without it. As for shooting, Trevor's eFG%(which factors in 3 pointers if you're not familiar with it) the past two seasons with the Lakers are 55% and 51%. So maybe, just maybe, his bad shooting this year may be due to overload of responsibility? Nah... Can't be. Ariza is obviously worthless. He must have compromising photos of both Adelman and Phil Jackson to be playing so much.
Well... anytime you thrust a role player into a starter's role, three things can happen: - Overachieves and makes everyone happy until he falls back to Earth, then everyone wants to trade him - Struggles as he is a fish out of water and everyone still wants to trade him - Achieves his hidden potential when backed into a corner, though very few people believed Ariza ever had that to begin with
Sounds like Stromile Swift, Jared Jeffries and any other number of MLE players that have been signed throughout the years. The problem for me is that we overpaid, and reached....which is un-Morey like. DD
Not for Maggette, I don't think he's much of a team player. Takes a lot of bad shots, and sort of a black hole. We have a scoring SF any ways in Chase. But Randolph....idk...earlier I really wanted the guy but i'm starting to think he's just going to be another wasted potential type of guy.
Maggette could come off the bench with Lowry after Yao and Martin have already gotten us in the bonus and we could have a parade to the FT line almost every offensive possession. Wanna talk about opening up the offense? Maggette IS a black hole on offense. A BLACK HOLE THAT GOES CHACHING. Him and Lowry would be like two rotweillers chewing their way through a fence made out of paper egg cartons. Team Randolph and Hill together or mix them up with Yao/Scola. Young, long, and very talented. I'd take Randolph over any big man in this draft. We've already seen the incredible skill set at the NBA level.
