mike bud, mike brown, larry brown, and mario elie?

larry brown makes no sense. he's not going to listen to morey, he wants total control wherever he goes, and he's close to retirement. not what this team is looking for at all.

mike brown is a proven dud. average at BEST.

mike bud would make sense considering how hard the rockets are trying to emulate the spurs entire franchise. if anything it would help us by having some inside info against the spurs. he's relatively young, and yet very experienced.

mario elie would be the fan favorite but he's not even a top assistant yet. not only that, but he's not even a top assistant on a bad team. mike bud is, and has been the top assistant on a contending team under a hall of fame coach for many years.

    Awesome!:p Seriously, I wouldn't mind him.

Mike Brown - meh. I'd pass.

Mario Elie - Can't comment on

Larry Brown - Last thing we need is Larry Brown to walk out/resign/retire etc. middle of the season when he decides his heart is no longer in it or is tired of rebuilding.

No clue if Mario can coach at this level but I'd be one happy camper if we hired him. That would just be too much fun. Especially if he is vocal. I would be fine with Budenholzer but I'm not sure if I could take Bullard saying "Bud lets party" in reference to two guys.

I've got to point out that some assistants turn out quite well (Tom Thibodeau) and some don't (John Kuester). Heck Mike Brown was an assistant under Greg Popvich, and even he got fired in the end.

Are you implying that Budenholzer is a German name?

It might have its root there, but there's not a single German registered with that name in the white pages. I just looked it up.
32 Büdenhölzer though, which to Americans is essentially the same, right?
Sounds more like an Austrian or Swiss name though. :p

We don't have Manu, Parker, or Duncan. Will he develop our players more than what Adelman was doing?

I would be very happy with this choice, but I hope we at least interview Brad Stephens.

I would say he is the best choice, JVG isn't the same without Tom Tbeux and Mike Brown... Uhhhh

Alright, time to officially announce this. I'm interested in coaching for Houston, alongside the other 100,000 people.

I guess that would depend if T-will is still too stupid to learn Mike B's system. I don't think anybody really knows enough about him to make an informed post at this point, will he adapt the Spur's system? Or will he continue the old offense, which unarguably brought out the best in our players? I trust DM to find the right coach for the team.

Here are my top picks for coach. After that I'd consider Budenholzer

Stephens just signed a long extension. I don't see him leaving Butler any time soon.
