Good choice imo, Raptors have no future and personally i wouldn't be exited to coach guys like Lowry and Derozan, not a fan of Ujiri either...
The pieces are there. Bonafide superstar in Giannis. Solid #2 option(s) in Parker and Middleton. Capable playmaker in Brogdon. Up-and-coming 5 in Maker. It'll be hard to keep pace with the Boston and Philly, though. East is exciting now, especially if LeBron stays in the conference.
I'm curious to see what they're going to do with Parker...not sure how much money he's going to get this summer. What do you think @malakas ?
I can't describe how happy I am to pick a top 5 imo coach..is what I would normally post. But since I have learned my lesson of keeping expectations low, all I wiil say is meh.
it will depend on what kind of offer sheet he can get. With his attitude during the POs, he didn't win any fans and I can only believe it threw the teams interested in him even more off. So if it's around 12-13 per I suppose they will match but any more and he gone. Bud theoritically can make him work and fit in better than Kidd but Parker is so autistic that who knows if he can even cooperate at this point.
I think he's a pro volleyball play now........Never forget the exit interview after the 2011 or 12 season, he said morey had called him a asset and that was the first time he had ever heard a player being called that. Lmfao
I did, I thought "This guy still in the league?" Any way, I think Bud is a good coach and he's working with a pretty talented team that to me has really underachieved thus far.
For some reason, this hire doesn't really excite me... as a guy who wants to be a fan of the Bucks. I guess he's a good coach.
