From the way the Lakers are playing, I would say that no one can beat them... but the Bucks are a type of team that the Lakers have not yet seen this playoffs... and I don't think they will be as prepared for them as they were for the Spurs or Kings.

The Bucks must have been doing something right to go 8-0 against the top 4 West teams. I say Bucks in 7.

On top of all this, we still have not seen how the Lakers would deal with a loss this postseason. All the finger pointing and blame game crap was put on hold for this 18 game win streak, but if they suddenly lost a game that they felt they should win, they might start unravelling again.

Go Bucks! Sam will hit the series/game winner in game 6 six! "cassell, open for 3pointer, yes! yes! it's over!"

    Laker-Bucks-Lakers in 6.

Personally I think that the Sixers will win the East if Iverson gets back in time.

    Lakers-Sixers:Lakers in 6.

I know that Cassell and Co have been playing well, but as good as the Lakers?

Well you picked the Spurs to win this series and also to win in 6!
You must be losing a lot of money now!

I think Philly will win as well.
But if the Bucks do win, then Lakers in 5.

I'd have to say Lakers in 4. They are going to sweep the whole playoffs.

    ------------------
    Houston Chronicle:
He sat with his teammate and buddy Cuttino Mobley in Philly and they talked about how they had whipped the Sixers and Pacers by about 30 each this season.

"Smacked the ... out of them," he said. "We have the talent."

You guys have been watching the playoffs right? Seriously, the Lakers are playing at a level above the rest of the league.

Lakers in 4. And I'm being generous to the Bucks.

I called one series wrong. If you call a series wrong, it makes you stupid? So I assume you've predicted every series right your whole life (which I'm guessing can't be over 12 years)?

But, if like you said, I'm so stupid, why don't you talk some X's and O's with me? Bring me some facts! If I'm so stupid, it should be easy right? You said Grant tore Duncan's ass up. Let's look at some numbers for the series.

    Grant-- 3.8 pts, 5.8 reb, 2.3 asst
    Duncan-- 23 pts, 12.3 reb, 4.3 asst

Sure looks like Grant tore his ass up right?

And why would the Rockets have made the finals a lot better? You don't like the Spurs, presumably because of their age. Well, age doesn't mean anything in the NBA. Sure, maybe they aren't as flashy, although they do have three of the top young players around in Duncan, Anderson, and Daniels. But does it really matter if they have mad hops, or make Sportscenter highlights? The Spurs played very well offensively and defensively all year long as a team. Please tell me how the Rockets would've beaten them in a series, which is what they'd need to do to make the series against the Lakers better. Furthermore, the Spurs just disposed of the Mavs in 5 games in dominating fashion. Even when we were playing very well, the Mavs completely waxed our ass the last two games of the season that we played them. They were better than us this season. And the Spurs just crushed them like bugs. So how exactly would the Rockets, who couldn't even beat the Mavs in must win games for us, beat the Spurs, a team who crushed the Mavs, a team we couldn't beat?

And, if you've watched any basketball this season, you'd know that even now, the Lakers primary weaknesses are transition defense and perimeter defense. This plays right into the Bucks hands. They love to get out and play a fast paced game, and can shoot lights out from outside. And how to you propose the Lakers defend the Bucks perimeter weapons? Fisher will be completely outmuscled in the post by Cassell. The Bucks primarily use Glenn Robinson and Tim Thomas in the forward spots. Rick Fox and Horace Grant cannot guard those guys. Yes, Fox did have success against Peja, but Robinson has a much more refined game, including a back to the basket game and a better game at attacking the basket. Thomas is 6'10 with great handles, a good shot, and incredible speed. All they have to do is isolate him on Grant and he'll get straight to the rim. Because of that, the Lakers will have to bring Horry into the game, and he can play pretty solid defense against one of Thomas and Robinson. But if you think the Bucks can't exploit the matchups of Cassell on Fisher, and whichever forward of Thomas/Robinson Horry doesn't guard, you're nuts. And, while Kobe is a solid defender, you may see him wear down during the game and series after having to go through a maze of screens trying to defend Ray Allen.

The Lakers are playing well, and I give them credit for that. But to say that based on the way they've dominated the West and because Shaq and Kobe look good that they'll sweep everyone is ridiculous. There is a reason the Bucks were 8-0 against the top four teams in the West. Matchups count in basketball, even with the so called invincible Lakers. Maybe the Lakers can sweep them. Who knows? But to call someone stupid and then to use that pathetic line of reasoning you used to support it is ridiculous.

P.S.-- Until you can provide some more insight besides calling the Rockets better than the team with the best regular season record in the NBA and to call them a bunch of old geezers, I suggest you not post here. And, you haven't been here long enough to read many of my posts, and you certainly don't know me personally, so you definitely don't need to call people stupid in circumstances such as these. Grow up.

Look at NBC. I hope y'all were watching this game.

Neither one of those teams can challenge the Lakers. Not unless they can play about 10X better than they are right now.

Who here still thinks the Bucks could beat the Lakers after the last 2 games?

They could barely beat a 1 man team with that 1 man sitting in a hotel room and they just lost to a 1 man team with that 1 man playing horribly.

    Lakers in 4

The only reason the Pacer stayed close in that series is because the Lakers couldn't close anyone out last year.

As for the perimeter shooting - it didn't help the Spurs.

You're right on that. The Bucks have played poor basketball for two games in a row now, and I'm disappointed to say the least. That team out there today couldn't contend with the Lakers. When they shoot poorly, like today, they aren't a pretty team to watch. But, the Bucks often have been a big game team, and I expect them, if they make it to the Finals, to play better, shoot better, and execute better when the pressure is really on. Of course, I said that about the Spurs too I know, so I definitely could be wrong. I just think they'll step it up for the Finals, that is, assuming they can get there.

I think The Rockets would've done better because they would have had heart. They wouldn't have just laid down and let The Lakers have their way with them. They would have kept on playing hard even if they're down by 20. I know this because I've seen them do it even agianst good teams like the spurs. Well you might say that this is the playoffs and things are different. If that's the case I'd agree because in the regular season the blazers were good, the spurs beat everyone and the kings were the best TEAM in the league as far as playing as a team. In the playoffs the blazers collapsed, the spurs lost it after one loss and the kings had no focus and couldn't play as a team. Do you honestly think that Rudy would let his team be swept. I'm not saying that The Rockets would have won the series or maybe even win more than one game, but they would have showed up to play and never lost the will to win no matter how down they were. They sure as hell wouldn't have been blownout on consecutive occasions. The lakers are a good team and would've made it this far anyway, but their sweep is partly due to the collapse of all their competition.

No one knows for sure, but I think The Rockets would have put up more of a fight.

As far as The Bucks go I agree with you. I think they'll create some match-up problems for the lakers so we'll see what happens. If the lakers lose a game I want to see how they react. The might even come into the series thinking it's over and all they have to do is show-up for four more games to make it official while The Bucks are gonna come out with everything they have. Sam has already said that his team has faced pressure, but hasn't faced anything near what he faced with The Rockets so we'll see what they'll do. That's what great about this sport is that anything can happen. The spurs had the best record and got swept so we'll see how the finals go if The Bucks make it. If Philly goes I don't think they' do it, but I know Milwaukee has a chance.

When The Bucks get down Sam will lead his team back into it by remembering the words a great man once said.

"Don't ever underestimate the heart of a champion."
