they should keep the secondary logo as the primary it looks wayyy better and on a side note... josh smith was at lifetime fitness in sugar land last week, he came in talked to some guys that were sitting in the cafe showed some papers or something and left
Yeah, 12 years ago. Might be a chance though that if the fans hate it so much they stay with the old ones. Why would they change colors though? Red and Yellow has been Atlanta Hawks.
Speaking of the Rockets' jerseys, what happened to the alternate we were promised (or promised ourselves)? Will they ever say "Houston" on the front?
Anyone who complains about the amount of jersey changes in the nba needs to take a chill pill. Consider the sports fan who loves all 4 major american sports(if hockey can still be considered major), and then loves soccer and follows a team in the english premier league or spain or italy. The soccer teams change jerseys more often than any other league/sport. First off all the teams have sponsors and the sponsors have logos on the jerseys, so next season your team could decide to go w/ sony as a sponsor rather than toshiba and new jerseys would have to be made. the team could also decide to switch from nike to adidas. This happens so often its usually expected. I like the hawks new look, not so much the guy modeling it.
They look like NFL jerseys, but still not bad. I love multiple jerseys. The Pockets should switch theirs up more often. The new ones are boring.
BTW.....Ijust wanted to drop one more piece of news. No other team is getting a total makeover for next season. The Hawks were the only team. That should dispell some of the Portland rumors floating around recently. Nuff said....
I nominate the Hawks for contraction. They're the sh*ttiest team in the sh*ttiest sports town in the country. Even if they were good, nobody would give a damn about them.
I like it. As much as I like red, too many teams in the league wear red. Rockets, Bulls, Blazers, Raptors, Heat, Nets, Clippers, Pistons, Hornets(Valentine's Day jerseys) and I won't be surprised if the Bucks throw out an alternate red jersey.
Look like half the other NBA teams. It so hard to keep up with teams changing their look every 2 or 3 years and having 17 different 'alternate' jer$ey$. Way to establi$h a tradition, NBA...

I don't like these jerseys, looks like the designer tried TOO hard to attain this new age look. Retro-style jerseys always look the best, there is a reason for this. That Hawk head looks incredibly cheesy. I recommend they go back to the black jerseys they had with the hawk stretched across the front. Oh well, they are a terrible team... so they deserve a terrible jersey I guess.
What amazes me is that the NBA approves such boring, generic and pointless jersey changes or approves over-the-top, hideous looking alternates...yet will not cave on the allowance of black, which I think everyone is in agreement would make one kick-ass alternate for the Rockets. The decisions this league makes simply vexes me sometimes.
