    I miss Kelvin Sampson.
I hate the Houston Cougars and the NCAA.
But more than all I hate Maori for signing Mchale as the head coach and not Kelvin Sampson. :(:(:(:(

Coach Sampson does more for UH than it does for the Rockets.

Ariza is a veteran who knows how to fit in with a star guard. He also fills this team's biggest needs with his catch and shoot three point shooting and perimeter defense. The chemistry will me there rather quickly.

You want to talk about logical and then you compare Tyson Chandler to Marion.

This is the right comparison :

Harris + Felton : better defensive than Calderon
Calderon : better offensive than Harris + Felton combine
Tyson Chandler : better defensive than Dalembert, offensive? at best is a push
Marion : better defensive than Parsons
Parsons : better offensive than Marion
Carter : better offensive than _____ whoever the new bench guy

So this is very obvious, Mavs lost a ton on O and gained a lots on D.

Will it be better? Time will tell.

Hate it or Love it the Underdog is on top.

I think this team is gonna thrive under this moniker.

I don't care what the Mavs did. We got better by subtraction.

Agreed!! The right team can win a championship with Jose Calderon as point guard. My argument against him would be him being a good overall fit for the Rockets. This has as much to do with Harden as it does with Calderon. IMO as a result of his lack of defense he'll be better suited for a team like the Indiana Pacers.

So your logic is only 1 bit? Better or worse? How about 2 bits now? Adding a lot better and a lot worse in?

I think Parsons is perfect to fill in their new hole in O and with the gained D, I consider them upgraded.

To think Ariza is better than Parsons : at least before the season started, is just blind folding yourself.

Parsons is younger and should have more rooms to improve. Parsons played with Harden for 2 years which Ariza did not.

Also, do not forget, last year was Ariza's contract year and this is his second time round in the Rockets, you may want to check his last stint in the Rockets several yeas ago right after the contract year in the Lakers. I am not saying he is likely to repeat the history again, but this is absolutely a concern.

Solid prediction given the current roster, hopefully there will be some changes before the season is over though.

15 mil has nothing to do here. Dirk is stupid to take a pay cut.

Harris is better on D than Calderon, by a lot actually. Even fat Felton is slightly better or at least on par with Calderon on D.

Parsons is there to fill in their hole in the offense and I think he will do pretty well.

Since you mentioned 15 mil, yes, I also think Parsons is over payed.

Yep. Between that and our lack of depth- we're one injury to Harden or Howard away from the lottery. If one of those 2 are out for like 20, 25 games. We're toast.
