Test drive them both and the BRZ. I got the BRZ for invoice, $27k so it was a no brainer for the extra options (hid, nav, fog lights, spoiler, heated seats). I actually prefer how the FRS handles, I think the steering wheel has a much better feel. Only thing I regret is passing up on the WRB. I chose SSM due to the Houston heat. I was going to wait for a STi version as well, but I said hell with it. I wanted something that will give me instant gratification now, not 1-2 years from now.
I'd go for the Subaru. I own one (not a brz) and the all wheel drive is amazing. However, I heard the BRZ doesn't have AWD
BRZ is RWD unfortunately. I just got my drivers license in the US so I was thinking about buying either of these cars... However I'm only here for a short time so I'm just gonna go lease some other car instead. The FR-S/BRZ are ****ing sweet though.
It's definitely a city play car, maybe take it to autox if you're into that sort of thing... did you pay above sticker for this thing? it'll be interesting once the focus st launches and we get some comparison tests, despite having fwd, focus st has been getting equally high praise, and may even dethrone the mini for having the best fwd chassis in the game
I got it for invoice I think the civic type r has the best fwd chasis. I saw some track times and it's really close to a nsx.
I didn't mean it as in the Scion version did have AWD. Don't let my username fool you lol I don't care for scions nor do I know much about cars.
