Remember Ron Howard when he played Opie on the Andy Griffith show? Opie could shoot pretty well, but he could not defend or create his own shot. Is this comparison fair? ------------------ "Laws that forbid the carrying of arms. . . disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes. . . Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man." -- Jefferson's "Commonplace Book," 1774-1776, quoting from On Crimes and Punishment, by criminologist Cesare Beccaria, 1764
Actually I would compare him to the older Opie on Happy Days... He was a good player but he couldn't make the clutch shots he always missed that last game winning free throw... Then his dad Mr. C. would give him a lifesaver... Okay so now you have to match the rest of the Happy days crew like the Fonz and Potsie with current rocket players... of course you could always select Opie in his later days when he did what he did best, direct. So maybe Bryce should coach! ------------------
Oh boy.... November can't get here fast enough... ------------------ If you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding!!
Clearly, Steve Francis is the Fonz. Pig could play Al Molinero, Collier could be Potsie, and CD could play Mr. C. Too bad Thomas Hamilton is gone, because he could have played the older Joanie, after she got fat and b****ed about her contract. ------------------ “During my service in the United States Congress, I took the initiative in creating the Internet.” (Al Gore, CNN’s “Late Edition with Wolf Blitzer,” 3/9/99) www.algore-2000.org
Not to continue this thread, but hey why not? What else is there to do? : Cross Opie Taylor with Manute Bol and you get Shawn Bradley. THREAD EXIT SEQUENCE STARTED. ------------------ Just shut up and post
