Ya, that Kobe Bryant is a cancer to the team, and has prevented them from winning the title the last 2 years.

I do think it's notable that Samaki Walker has a reputation for having a bad attitude. Bryant does not. Cold... but not an *******.

What it all boils down to is that Kobe is not a Rocket. Therefore he is the enemy. No matter how you slice the pie, the only true solution is this: Screw Kobe. And Samaki Walker.:D

The difference is...Tmac, Wink, Shaq, and Cat do it when they do something spectacular. Kobe does it when he hits a fallaway over Earl Boykins.

Kobe makes me sick. He's good, but the boy is waaaay too much of a cocky mimic (of Jordan) to suit my liking. The tongue-wagging, swagger, and fist-pumping are getting old....because they are exactly what MJ does. Damn Kobe...let Mike do his thing --- you find your own trademark.

Maybe Kobe just read Jordan cold-cocked more than one of his teammates - most notably Steve Kerr, after an elbow.

Note to hatas - Kobe IS a badass.

Who do you prefer? Olajuwon would be a good answer. Totally different demeanor. But I bet it's not him, prolly some whiner wannabe, like spree. OK, that wasn't polite. I take it back. Who do you prefer, anyway, if Kobe is so heinous? Who's a proper all-star role-model?

Hint : Shaq's another good answer.

    Kobe's cocky.

What's worse, he has every right to be.

Throw it into Shaq. Look for fast break points. Shoot it when Shaq is out of the game. Play for Phil = championship.

Shimshack182, it is ok (though it doesn’t make you look very smart) to join the fray in piling on Kobe because 1) he is good, very good, 2) he doesn't play for the Rockets, 3) he has 2 rings and isn't even 25, and 4) he is awfully cocky. But please leave your juvenile slurs out of the BBS. Not only does it make you look not very smart, but you come off as an ignorant hate monger to boot.

shimshack182 would be my hero if a) he wasn't a homophobe b) didn't act like an ingrate, and c) actually went to that crazy old thing called "proof" to back up a statement.

I know that putting more than two or three of them there words together to make a, say it with me, SENTENCE, is HARD work for a dude as hyperintelligent as you, but please indulge us with your brilliant ways by telling us "WHY" you think Kobe is a jerk, other than because those voices you hear tell you so....

Don't worry, Shim, we all think you are a winner....you just need to develop a little confidence in your ability to articulate an opinion. We're all SURE you'll come across as a smart individual once that happens....

    pasox,

I prefer Tim Duncan. He also won a ring very early in his career, only instead of Shaq he had The Ensign. He doesn't need to make a big deal out of every play. When he is dismantleing the other team he acts like he has done it before.

Duncan is very good answer, with appropriate elaboration. Well done. :) .

Yea, too bad I missed this whole shimshack episode. Looked entertaining. :D Anyways, back to the topic. Here's some more info on why Kobe hit Samaki Walker:

Bryant, normally a model of composure, has had a rough few weeks, beginning with being booed at the All-Star game in Philadelphia, where he played high school ball.

Last week, he scuffled with teammate Samaki Walker, reportedly over some money Walker owed him.

I have yet to stop feeling sorry for Bryant since he was booed at the all-star game. :(

I mean, who cares about your millions of dollars and millions of fans elsewhere...we need to be sad for him because not everyone likes him. I mean why wouldn't a city like the man who said he was going to rip their hearts out? :(

I think I'm just going to end it all, humanity as we knew it, is over. :(
