    I wasn't surprised to see how badass Bruce Willis looked wielding a katana.

    Loved this guy when I was just a kid and he was in Moonlighting. Was pretty skeptical when I saw an action movie poster with him on it...only to have that action move, Die Hard, be among my favorite films ever. I'm so sorry to read this news.

    This made it to #5 in the U.S. billboard and #7 in the U.K. It won't die. Many have tried.

    Terrible, terrible news. Very underrated as an actor, Bruce Willis seemed to make a career out of surprising roles. He came out of nowhere to costar in Moonlighting, made an enormous hit with Die Hard in a role no one expected from him in what became a hugely influential film, became one of my favorite characters in one of my favorite genres in The 5th Element, gave a subtle, moving performance in The Sixth Sense, and in Pulp Fiction, a film filled with outstanding performances in arguably Tarantino’s best, stood out as the boxer who rides away on a chopper with Maria de Medeiros clinging to him, a classic scene.

    i would also add this 1997 adaptation of of the Federick Forsyth political thriller, the best-selling novel, "The Day of the Jackal" ,
    starring Bruce, Richard Gere and Sydney Pottier.

    "The Day of the Jackal" is about the conspiracy to assassinate French President, Charles DeGaulle;
    "Jackal" is an adaptation, the conspiracy to assassinate the First Lady

    He was great in 12 Monkeys too, one of my favorite sci-fi movies.

    I feel bad for making fun of this a couple of weeks ago.

    Yep, I also remember 13 y.o. me thinking Blind Date was hilarious, and Kim Basinger was...you know

    Massively underrated movie.

    There is usually an underlying cause to Aphasia...A stroke, tumor, or head injury. I wonder if he sustained something doing stunts.

    I saw a doctor (I think it was Dr. Drew) interviewed this morning that said that, in his case, it is likely a degenerative brain disease. Dementia was given as an example cause.

    If Bruce had a stroke or something else, then why wouldn't they just come out with that detail given they already announced it was Aphasia? Now, everyone is wondering what the underlying cause is.
