Bruce Brown Jr should be one of our top free agent targets.

To start, I'm quite convinced the Harden coming back rumors are real, and that we will get him.

If that is the case, Bruce Brown is the ideal sort of 3 and D versatile defensive guard who you absolutely NEED next to Harden. He allows Harden to play the point on offense, but not have to defend the point. If your 1, 2, 3 are Harden, Green, and Bruce Brown, then Brown can take the best guard, Green can take the weaker guard, Harden can take the weakest forward, and Jabari can take the best forward -- and for a defense to be able to work with both Harden and Green in it (especially if Sengun is the center still), we need that sort of defensive versatility that Brown provides.

Plus he is an excellent cutter, sets screens, and has become a good three point shooter.

For a team with Harden, Brown is ideal. And he is obtainable, since the Nuggets do not have Bird Rights for him, that means they can't compete with the offer the Rockets can give. We could max Harden, and still be able to offer Brown around 15 million per -- an overpay perhaps, but for someone who fits that perfectly, it would be a great signing.

But, even if Harden doesn't come back, Brown should still be a target. He's exactly the sort of plug and play 3 and D vet we should be looking to add, no matter what our other roster moves are.

My worry with him is the contract year improved shooting, maybe he's developed a shot, maybe it was just a streaky year and he returns to his career mean 3PT shooting, which would be a disaster for this teams already abysmal spacing

very fair, but he is on two years in a row of a good percentage. And there really aren't better 3 and D versatile guard defenders like him available via free agency or trade that I can think of.

Right 2 years of good percentage but only 1 on respectable volume. Here are his 3PT shooting stats including college

    2017 - 1.0 made .347%
    2018 - 0.8 made .267%
    2019 - 0.3 made .258%
    2020 - 0.6 made .344%
    2021 - 0.3 made .288%
    2022 - 0.5 made .400%
    2023 - 1.1 made .358%

He's a great defender, great athlete, solid passer, solid finisher at the rim, is only 6'4 202 pounds though.

I like him, his playstyle and impact for the Nuggets this year remind me of a smaller version of the GSW Iggy. For the worst 3PT shooting team in the league though, I'm just not sure it's the right move with his career shooting woes, but he has stood out to me, another one is Donte DiVincenzo
