Cps hamstring isn't a fluke injury for one. But otherwise, completely agreed.

No team will want a piece of us when we're fully healthy.

star power matters in the playoffs. the biggest reason the rockets have not had as much playoff success in the harden era is he hasnt had any real stars around him until last year. cp3 is officially old now and his body is breaking down. the sad fact is we cant ever count on him being healthy for an entire playoff run. so they add cousins, and we lose cp3. the cards just are not in our favor. james cannot keep this up throughout the playoffs when they start gameplanning harder to stop him and he gets less calls.

the warriors will be better with cousins. if he doesnt mesh with the starters they can just bring him off the bench. no second line would have a chance. i would love nothing more than to see the rockets take them down but its a long shot. we have to depend on so many role players to play well while they can easily get 80-90 points from steph, KD, klay, and cousins alone.

Toby Brothers and Scott Foster woulda made sure we lost regardless of who was playing? Did you not see Harden make that three?

There's no way we come close to 27 consecutive missed threes if not for Scott Foster's bullshit.. Did you not watch the game? Harden was Fouled CLEARLY on four threes and had a four pt play waved off

Lmao. How can you not blame the refs? We can go 0-50, but a foul is still a foul. That shouldn't change. The Rockets shoot 3's & get to the FT line, so if you're not hitting AND driving not getting calls, you can NEVER beat the Warriors. These were CLEARLY fouls too

So sad. The Rockets choked first and foremost.

I’m diehard like anyone else in here. The refs were bad sure, but the Rockets didn’t finish.

that is an overly simplistic and inaccurate view of the world. things can have multiple causes. given the leads that we held, it required a combination of cp3's injury, ariza's 0-12 game, and getting screwed by refs to lose. any one of those things don't happen and we win. none of them decided the series on its own

you know, it's almost like the officiating might have influenced the team's performance

Rockets are not finished adding players either. A quality starting 3-4 still needed.

If it influenced their performance then GSW deserved to win as the Rockets weren’t mentally strong enough.

no, as in, if you get fouled and missed a shot and it wasn't called then you just lost 2 points. if the other team got away with an offensive foul to make a three then they just got an extra 3.

people also forget they didn't actually miss 27 straight threes. harden made a 4 pt play that was waved off by scott foster

btw, how come you don't hold the other team to the same standard? the warriors weren't mentally strong enough to close out the 2016 finals. they also weren't mentally strong enough to come out playing well in game 6. they looked completely lost and were getting destroyed. it was the opportunity granted to them by the officiating that put them back in the game. not anything that they persevered through or earned, something they were given. that's not mental toughness and it's really ****ed up that you would criticize our team that was robbed off some bullshit that you wouldn't even take a second to try to apply to anyone else. disgusting

letting the refs off the hook I see...the refs took away at least 10 potential points from Harden alone...I won’t even talk about all the times Gordon was getting mugged at the rim and GS was allowed to do an illegal screen to get their guy a wide open look
