There's supposed to be. I think there were four books, but they were only planning on making three.

The movies are 98% different from the books, anyway.

(BTW, the 4th book, The Bourne Legacy, was NOT written by Robert Ludlum.)

Colin Farrell is too short to be Bond.

I think I should Play Bond.
I got the tall, dark, and charmingly handsome thing going, plus its about time there was an Indian James Bond. And if Aishwarya Rai plays the love interest in the next movie like some people have rumored.... wooooooo, sign me up.

I'd say Jason Isaacs, who was in Blackhawk Down and the Patriot, would be a good choice. To me, he looks like Bond. Jude Law is just far too pretty and Colin is far too....well unrefined to pull off the role. Hugh Jackman would be my second choice.

I don't care who replaces Brosnan if the next movie is not based in any reality like the last few. I would love for the Bond series to get back to it's roots.

i also thought brosnan stepped down on his own. i think he could still be an awesome bond but oh well.

jude law looks the part of a good bond but i don't really think he's done any action roles, and that pile of crap cold mountain doesn't count. then again matt damon basically made his action debut with the bourne series and did a really good job so it might not matter.

anyone thought about will ferrel instead?

Colin Farrell? More like Will Farrell, right?

In all seriousness, I think Eric Bana would be great for the role. He has shown an ability to pull off action in BHD and has comic roots from his Aussie days for delivering all the Bond one-liners.

I think Pierce Brosnan was perfect as Bond. He did a great job. He had that certain cockiness and style, so to speak. I wish he would remain Bond for another.

You joke about Lazenby, but On Her Majesty's Secret Service would be a great Bond movie to pattern the next one after. I'm not saying the guy should get married again, but playing it straight and having actual character development wouldn't be such a bad idea.

    i was joking...im a connery-man (not in a man-love way though).

OHMSS was a very good bond movie though. Lazenby was good, but no connery or even moore.

I've never seen that show, but surely there was some kind of buyout in his contract. Turning down the Bond role? Crazy.

Speaking of which, Broson was actually going to be Bond instead of Dalton. But because NBC renewed Remington Steele off the buzz of Bronson getting the Bond job, so the Bond people dropped him because they were thinking along the lines of, "Why would people pay to see Bond when they can see him every week on TV?" So it is possible that a TV deal can kill your chances to land this role.
