That's because DD is much more inconsistent than AB's passing game. On one day DD would treat Morey's words as bible, on the next day DD would advice others don't believe Morey's word but to look at his action. Beating up DD is becoming a clutchfans culture. That's why DD is more important than most posters here. I'd rather keep DD on the forum than keep AB on the team.
Yep, because they don't like AB and they have an agenda...too bad the people in charge who know basketball know better. Never ever, have I said that, so now we are resorting to making stuff up......nice.... \ I agree with you here, it is about fit, AB fits great with Yao because he can space the floor. I also agree here, but Lowry needs a much different team on the floor than the one the Rockets currently have, because of Lowry's lack of a good offensive game, he would be forced to shoot against the better teams. I am glad Kyle is in the gym, he needs to improve his offensive game, on defense he is great, but on offense he is a one trick pony that is easily countered in the playoffs. DD
Because DD is being a hypocrite. He started a thread talking about how Morey says one thing and does another. You can find the thread here. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=186906#post5320272 id=post5320272 We are just commenting on how it is hypocritical for him to think that DM is telling the truth this time, just because it supports his argument when he himself pointed out DM doesn't always tell the truth. For all we know, DM could just be talking up AB. I personally don't want to see AB traded (I would give him up before Martin though), but rather come off the bench as an offensive spark plug. I also have said many times that if Yao is healthy and can play, then AB should start. Also for the idiots who keep calling me an YOF or AB-hater because I actually live in reality instead of Never Ever Land, **** off as I criticize Yao's shortcomings much more than AB, much more so due to his fat contract.
Actually, you're the one who pointed it out. DD just went to your link and re-posted some quotes. Take some pride in your work, young man! Carry on..
I don't have search ability. But As I remember, you have called AB all-star and elite PG more than once.
Your recaller is broken...... I have always said he is playing at a "Near" all star level. Sort of true, I had that article bookmarked, but he did remind me... DD
Just that one, because I knew the argument from the Lowry Lubbers would come up again..... You guys are persistant, you are just wrong. DD
Maybe Morey has stumbled upon a maneuver no other GM or NBA owner has ever considered by increasing the trade value of an asset by effusive praise. Nah, never been done before...
Sure, I pointed it out. It still doesn't change the fact that people are all over DD for pointing out what someone else said.
Don't you get it..... If you hate AB = YOF Apparently AB is un-tradeable because he is that damn good. He can score and create spacing, really fast..........and......um he can score. 2 views on this 1. Love AB to death and think he will one day end up like CP3 or damn near it or some championship 1st scoring option PG or the most important player on this team. They won't even trade this guy unless its LBJ. Half of them say wait till the season ends....well if a better player is available "NOW" you trade him "NOW" 2. Folks who realize AB is a starter, however if we can trade him for an improvement on the team, it would mean by default our 6 million dollar backup PG would start. however View 1, see's View 2 as a YOF, who wants to somehow twist it to say View 2 really wants Lowry because he can pass better to Yao. Simple "I am Sam" terms AB is good. Melo is better. If teams want AB, we trade AB to get Melo. So sorry that AB may have more trade value than Lowry...I would easily trade Lowry if we can get a Melo type of player.
That is what I am trying to figure out... Judging from his previous responses to me though, I believe he may be borderline illiterate.
Not sure how truthful DM is when it comes to trade talks, FA, etc... maybe he wants to keep other GMs guessing (I dunno). Personally, I feel DM is being genuine when praising someone.
To me, it seems like all the yof care about first and foremost is yao and whats beneficial for yao. Whe adelman was displacing him at the elbow for better offensive circulation, they were b****ing. When brooks throws a bounce pass that comes to yao's waist, they're b****ing. Its adelamans fault he played yao so many minutes. Its tracy's fault yao didnt get the rebound. Its always someone else's fault for yao's failure or lack of success. Thats always been my beef with the yof and the tof posters. I will trade any player on the roster because no player should be above the benfit of the team. Many yof believe he is the reason the rockets even exist.I like brooks, but if a deal comes along to upgrade the team, they should trade him. Trading brooks so lowry can start is a step backwards no matter what anyone thinks. If morey keeps trading players adelman really likes and fits his system, guess where adelman will go? He's been known to get out of town. Ask portland ask the kings. The point is coming where you have to pay your good players. Unloke baseball, 1 player can have a big impact on a team success and balance.
