Lebron would be a better defender than Battier if he wants to play defense as hard as he could. But in real life, he doesn't always play that way. Most of the time his emphasis was on offense, and he gambles a lot on defense.

Sometimes I wonder how many times you want to get owned. I remember I posted Rockets-Blazers game 2 highlights(Game 1 was all Yao and he set the tone for the series), it was Yao who consistently drew double team even WITHOUT the ball, and other Rockets made them pay. On one play, Brook's man deliberately left him wide open and double Yao WITHOUT the ball. And now AB again becomes the reason why Rockets won?

You have lost all your credibility on the day you looked at the video and plain switch to the denial mode. If I were you, I'd go back to watch moe games and don't pretend to know basketball again.

Let me tell you one more thing, A team with AB as the first option has proved not able to get into playoffs, and he hasn't show any sign to make players around him better. Every starter last year shot at the low end of their career average. The entire team's offensive efficiency didn't go up despite AB himself took the most shots and shot a career high percentage.

Oh I almost forgot you were the one who thought points scored per game is a better indicator about offense than scoring efficiency. My suggestion: go back to learn some basic basketball knowledge before you accuse other posters for not watching or not knowing the game.

what about game 4 vs the lakers to tie the series at 2-2. where was yao then? he was on the bench with a broken foot while brooks scored 34 points and led the rockets to a victory and a 2-2 tie. go watch the video. i don't care if brooks defense does suck. so does nash's and a lot of other point guards. his offense negates that. we have lowry to guard bigger guards like deron williams and billups if they are giving brooks problems. sometimes lowry will play with brooks, but other than that he is our utility back up pg, while aaron brooks is the clear cut starter. brooks is a starter. lowry is a backup. he is a great backup. he is just not a starter

one more thing, the fact that we didn't make the playoffs last year, had a lot to do with us starting hayes, a 6 ft 5 center and david anderson, a huge girl

    Brooks love is crazy.

    First SF now Brooks.....

Championship teams don't need scoring PG who attempt 16FGA per game................they need a good shooting PG, not a PG who needs to shoot 16 times a game (6 of them being 3 pointers)............

    Blind love.

Tony Parker and Isiah Thomas are looking right at ya, and say hello to Chauncey Billups......and Derek Fisher is a jump shooting PG too.....

More teams have won with Non traditional PGs than have won with the traditional pass first ones that folks seem to be clamoring for......

I'm happy with Brooks, I just don't know if the Rockets are willing to (and should) pay him the 8 to 10 million a year he will probably be able to make after a good season this year. Thus, if trading him can help us land a significantly better player, I would at least look into it, although losing him would hurt.

What funny about your so called owning proved my point to the point it was laughed at by alot of posters. Your setting the tone proved big time fail with your video posting. They doubled him like once or twice and that was it. Fronting is not doubling in case you didn't know. Also, a brooks led team has led the rockets just as far as a yao led team which is no where.

Please repost the video again so we all can laugh again and prove you wrong by your tone setting, lol. I suggest you go back and watch those videos you're claiming to have owned me with.

I don't understand this thinking if the Rockets are not willing to pay their important players, then they are fooling everyone here....and they are not really trying to win.

They just paid Lowry and Scola, I expect Brooks will get his....

I just don't see us locking in 14-16M per season for our starting and backup point guards. One of them is going to get moved. I suspect that it will be AB.

Before anybody mentions Tony Parker as a comparison.

Let me remind you of the following

    1. He played with the best PF in the league, probably Top 10 greatest NBA player ever, lets not even mention one of the better SG in the league sitting on the bench.
    2. His championship years had him taking 14 FGA, however his FTA was 5.5, he averaged 6 assists, took an average of 2 3pt FA.
    3. He isn't undersized
    4. He has better court vision and passing skills

The only comparison is AB taking 16 FGA and shooting a good %.

All 3 are far Superior than just a shooting PG.

    Better Court Vision
    Better Passing
    Not- Undersize, except for Isiah
Better team mates (not having to be option number 1)

When AB isn't scoring, what can he do???????????????????????????????

They have more than that locked up at SF now, and at Center as well....and close to that at the SG position.

PF is near that as well.....

I know they are a prudent organization, we shall see how they handle it...maybe they are hoping it is all solved with the new CBA.

It will be interesting to see if Brooks gets his extension, he is eligible for one now, I believe, or will Morey roll the dice and let him be a restriced free agent?

I think that strategy backfired on him this year.

Before you attempt to convince me AB is God.

Lets remind DD, people obviously can't convince you about Melo.

Nothing is going to change my mind, with AB and this current Roster, we aren't championship material. I would gladly package him for Melo.

    I know, you don't like AB...and I don't like Melo...

But the difference you see, is that AB is a Rocket.....Melo is not....

Not because they want to. Jefferies was taken as a poison pill in order to get more assets in return.

    Here's the breakdown

    PG AB(?)/Lowry($5.7 mil)
    K.Martin($11 mil.)/ Lee ($1.3 mil)
    Battier ($7 mil.)/ Jeffries ($6.8 mil.)
    Scola ( $7.7 mil) / Hill ($2.7 mil)
    Yao ( $18 mil.) / Miller ($4.4 mil)

I do not see Morey Paying AB more than what he gave Scola and to be honest I think that's about what AB deserves.

Good teams keep their better players, and pay them.

If the team is constantly are turning rosters over to get cheaper players, they are fooling everyone and not really serious about winning.

When AB is struggling to score of having a bad game, what do you do? You put in his backup Kyle Lowry and see what he can bring.

Having them both is a blessing......if the left one don't get ya the right one will.
