Seriously are you stupid? He lost his shoe, yes he's mad at no call, tried to put it on but you have to loose the shoelaces, put in on your feet and attach them while the play is still going. He simple tosses it to finish the play. What you want him to do? Stay there and take a good 10-15 seconds off the clock of a possession to attach him shoe?

He should have held on to the shoe, then thrown it up at any shot at its highest apex to deflect it. That would have been an instant classic

Iverson is a shoe-in for the HOF. Brooks obviously thinks entirely way too highly of himself while having proven little. The only similarity is that Brooks may be writing his own ticket out of the league like Iverson did.

Or just leave the shoe and get back on D. It wasn't a 4 on 5 situation until he let 2 Bulls (that were behind him) run right past him and give them the numbers. As RV6 posted, I don't think there is an issue with him actually throwing the shoe into the crowd, but I think you can read into letting your teamates defend 5 on 4 while you take your time with your shoe. It definitely looks like he was frustrated with the foul call (lack of) and initially took his time in frustration.

I agree that there's been overreaction to Brooks' antics as of late but I think it's somewhat of a fair assessment. Him leaving the Rockets bench early was the final straw for me. I understand him being frustrated but there's no excuse for walking out on your team while they're still fighting to win the game IMO.

Look guys, I totally understand that he didn't CHUCK the shoe into the crowd, I'm just borrowing the wording from the Yahoo! article (which, if you haven't checked it yet, here: http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/blog/ba...lt=AhqpjEDI3SBEm5SV7V8dIdm8vLYF?urn=nba-wp995). And I understand that he did it mainly because play was still going on, like Shaud said first.

But I still think he kind of had that hint of frustration. And I did overreact by making this thread, I guess. Don't let me post threads when I'm tired and bored...

For all the doomsayers, Brooks is shooting better in Phoenix than he has his entire career, including his best-shooting year in Houston.

Their should just be one whole thread covering every little minor slip up AB makes in his career. "The AB thread for bitter a-holes".
