I don't see why we can't trade for Dwight:

Patterson, Hill, Thabeet, Motiejunas, Dragic, and the Knick's pick for Dwight:

    PG: Lowry/Flynn
    SG: Martin/Lee
    SF: Budinger/Williams
    PF: Scola/Morris
    C: Howard/Dalembert

That team is ten times better than Dwight, Deron, and a bunch of nobodies on the Nets. And from Orlando's perspective, I would rather have Patterson, Hill, and Motiejunas than Lopez and his bad foot or Bynum and his bad knees.

Rockets are now the frontrunners for Dwight Howard trade.

actually what we should do is work a 3 way with toronto

    Where Magic get

    Baragini, picks and lowry

    thats a haul

    then deal budinger/hill and scola

    for bargaini

something like that would prob work...

Hey believe what you want to believe. ORL has no half decent offer than the package Lakers have. 26/11 last night by Bynum and he wont play for the next 10 days.

I don't think so. We have more ability to take back salary from Orlando, long term salary, and leave them with the ability to rebuild much quicker. We have the ability to take on every contract that goes past 2013 on their roster and give them all expirings, young players and a couple picks besides. Bynum/Pau clog up their cap. They have to decided to re-sign Bynum or let him walk. And it does not make them significantly better. They would basically be the Lakers without Kobe and Lamar. Not real good.

On a serious note, tough break for Brook Lopez ... same bone that caused Yao Ming, Bill Walton and many others problems.

Lopez's fracture complicates talks for Dwight Howard, but Orlando will likely have time to evaluate NJ center before March trade deadline.

no chance he can sign with nyk...

I say now its us , lakers or mavs

we either help one of them get him or we take risk...

I dont see why we dont try and sell him on a lowry matin/lee (his friend) Howard combo

If we could keep martin, lee, and lowry and get Howard we could make every thing else work. Thatd be a SICK team. Start T will for d

    Lowry
    Martin
    T will
    Morris or Patterson whosever left
    Howard

    (sign chuck off FA)

    OUCH!

Him probably not wanting to stay here might have something to do with it.

The biggest winners of this, and no one is talking about this yet, are the Utah Jazz. Don't they have New Jersey's draft picks for the next few years from the Deron deal? Well New Jersey is going to be sucking hard this year at least.

New Jersey's treading on very thin water here. One wrong move and Deron's off to Dallas, and Dwight's off to who knows where.

Martin + Scola + Dragic/Flynn + Hill + Thabeet + Motiejunas + 2 1sts to Orlando for Dwight! Honestly Orlando would be getting a HUGE haul of young talent if they were to deal with us. Even Bynum and Gasol together in Orlando surrounded by scrubs would have no chance at a title, so why bother with that?

    Lowry / Llull
    Lee / T-Will
    Morris / CBud / Parsons
    Patterson / Adrien / Smith
    Dwight / Dalembert

NJ doesn't owe Utah any future picks.

If Magic agree to deal Howard for Gasol & Bynum I would lose it. Gasol is getting old and Bynum is just so,so..
