<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">LeBron James has agreed to a 3-year, $100 contract with the Cavs, sources told ESPN</p>— Brian Windhorst (@WindhorstESPN) <a href="https://twitter.com/WindhorstESPN/status/763846241725902848">August 11, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
Somebody might want to get Windhorst to check his sources. I understand Cleveland is operating in Luxury Tax territory, but $33.33 dollars a year for LeBron sounds a bit low, if not downright illegal under most applicable labor laws.
Op wants those views not putting which team he finally decided to sign with. Finally the summer of lebron is over
its crazy how Mike Conley who has never made the all star game makes just about the same amt as LBJ. Conley makes roughly 30.6 million a season. LBJ 33 million.
but what about the sixers?!?!?! god dammit. first solomon hill, then durant, now lebron. will a superstar plz sign with the sixers already? sheet
The length of the deal makes sense, 3 years with player option in the last is fair to all parties and by making this a 3 years deal, its also showing some good faith to the Cavs fans. He is becoming the highest paid player in the game now and there isn't really any need to squeeze every single dollars as he is also trying to become the best ever.
No one cares about the Sixers. Until they prove otherwise, they are the NBA equivalent of the Browns.
Conley still owns the biggest contract in history of nba. Curry will no doubt break it, and maybe kd will break it but I'm not sure about that either next year.
