Did Tracy really write that? If yes, then it's awesome!!! Really shows his feelings and passion and respect for Yao. And this should put to rest any rumours of a discord between our two stars. This is definitely a team worth supporting....
Yeah, and its not like one of those amateur poems that are concrete in their meaning...this one you actually have to sit down and think about it.....like a true, geniune, literature poem should do
I REALLY hope that this was genuinely written by Tmac, not by a friend or some hired writer or something because I would be really disappointed.... But if this is genuine.....wow!
Great poem if truly written by T-Mac. The man has a side you don't commonly see in athlete's. Touching and greatly supportive of his teammate. I love it.
Someone needs to ask Tracy personally whether or not he wrote it. I won't believe it otherwise. Help us out Clutch? Fritz? Mattj?
If you guys had any reading comprehension whatsoever you'd know that the author of the poem is Tmac (unless the article writer is lying).
I found an interpretation of one of the sections of this poem on another site: http://forums.sohh.com/showthread.php?t=985091 They tell me, Wall that the rings have blinded you (the Olympics are stopping him from doing what he really wants to do?) That a red ring chokes you while the black ring consumes your soul According to this interpretation, Tracy may be saying that the pressure to fulfill Olympic obligations is keeping Yao from doing what he really wants to do which is fight through the injury and keep playing for the Rockets this season. If Tracy did, in fact, write this poem, what else might he have meant by "the rings have blinded you"?
