Brock was getting his ass beat in the Carwin fight too. Brock wasn't defending himself at all. Ref let it go on and Brock regrouped and won the fight.
I am pretty sure carwin hits harder and he came back. Again If I were carwin I would be calling out cain.
Brock has the tools to be a dominant MMA fighter but really needs to work on his stand up. When he couldn't take down Cain and started eating some punches, he started to panic just like the Carwin fight.
I need to re-watch both fights. I think Carwin rocked him early but wasn't as precise as the round wore on...and Brock was shelled in, but surviving iirc. Velasquez was not tired, not swinging wildly, in complete control, and on his way to literally murdering Lesnar.
In that fight, a lot of punches weren't even landing flush on Brock when he was on the ground. Cain was delivering a lot of clean blows to Brock. The ref could have let this one go longer but no way was he getting up. He was gassed and pretty much out of it. Cain/JDS fight should be really good. What is next for Brock? I really don't want to see Lesnar/Mir 3.
Cain has the same calm under fire that Fedor has, it's unnerving. The brown pride stuff has got to go. The guy isn't Mexican, he's American. Race is not a virtue idiot, it's a superficial aesthetic condition. Racial pride is divisive and without meaning, take that crap somewhere else. Made it easy for me to root for Brock.
Viva Mexico! Cain Wooped that ass!!!! I like Brock and all, but I have to keep it real and go with my peeps. Hope Brock Bounces back though.
