Completely different scenarios. Ming and Shaq are also freakishly tall also. Brock is about 6'3 6'4. And him being in the WWE almost makes it positive that he was doing steroids. Almost every single Heavyweight champion in the past 10 years has done steroids and can tell from Eddie Guerrero, Edge, Rey Mysterio, and John Cena.
The word going around is that it's Hepatitis B which can be transported by blood contact thus being the end of his fighting career.
HGH alone does very little for muscle size. Combined with steroids and insulin it can be great for adding mass but used alone it's nearly worthless for someone looking to add muscle.
hep b would be nothing close to the symptoms that have been reported. also hep b wouldn't take 4 different docs and the mayo clinic to diagnose.
well, this confirms that something shady was going on when he canceled his fight a few weeks ago despite looking fine and showing up at a football game.
This morning I heard it was an intestional bacterial infection? What the heck is it? Sounds bad, what ever he has.
Sucks man. I enjoyed watch all his fights. As a pro wrestling fan, it was nice to see him shut up all the MMA purist that said he doesn't belong there. Good going Brock and lets hope you get better. The UFC needs you. The heavyweight division really needs you. Well, maybe Kimbo can add some fire to that division while he is gone.
Yeah it would be cool to see him get KTFO on a regular basis. Sucks for Brock, even though I really don't like the guy its sad to see someone at the top of their game have to hang it up.
note to self....never post tmz as a source for mma news. not in this story but it is being widely circulatd that he has http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diverticulitis to go along with his mono. dana white is such an idiot saying he may never fight again and saying he will need major surgery. i wouldn't be surprised if that ahole was using this brock news to take away some attention from the great fedor fight a week ago. http://www.mmaweekly.com/absolutenm/templates/dailynews.asp?articleid=10014&zoneid=13 - TRAINER SAYS LESNAR SHOULD BE HOME SOON Monday, November 16, 2009 - by Steven Marrocco - MMAWeekly.com The fate of UFC heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar has brightened considerably, his trainer told MMAWeekly.com Monday night. Greg Nelson, Lesnar’s head coach and owner of Minnesota Mixed Martial Arts, said Lesnar has a bacterial infection in his intestinal tract, but his condition is improving. “He should be home soon,” Nelson wrote via text message. Lesnar, 32, was hospitalized in North Dakota last week after collapsing at his property in Canada, and was reportedly diagnosed with mononucleosis and an intestinal disorder. At the UFC 105 post-fight press conference last Saturday, UFC president Dana White said Lesnar was “very, very sick” and would “be out for a while.” He planned to fly to Lesnar’s side and offered to send the fighter to the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. On Monday, White was quoted on celebrity gossip website TMZ.com as saying Lesnar might never fight again. Lesnar withdrew last month from a second title defense against Shane Carwin at UFC 106 when the illness first appeared. Lesnar last fought in July where defeated Frank Mir at UFC 100 to retain his belt. He drew heavy criticism for a raucous post-fight speech where he mocked Mir and UFC sponsor Bud Light before promising to “get on top of his wife” that night.
