    IMO all of these:
    1. Friend went out with her for over a month
    2. Friend *hit* it
    3. Friend had or has feelings for her

    Only exception: If they went on a few "dates" but he has no doesn't and never had any feelings for her. Think - situation where he only saw her as for "fun" but nothing more.

    EDIT:: I'll take "hit it" out, since it really depends on the situation. Also remember it doesn't matter what the GIRL thinks of the situation, ie she says "it was never that serious, etc". It only matters what your friend thnks of the situation. If he's cool, then you're cool.
