people also are notoriously known for their alleged drug use, eating disorders, and addictions. Murphy was already in this category. then she dies of cardiac arrest at age 32. it's not hard to make the connection.
you can smoke til you can't see 6 inches in front of you and you'll be ok. you can smoke yourself sober.
People also eat alot of fast food, drink and smoke too much, get diabetes or die of heart attacks every day. I see alot of unhealthy people making quick judgments about someone's perceived drug habit when in fact they themselves are killing themselves to death with their fried foods and "lesser" bad habits. At least Brittany Murphy made something out of her life and wasn't mediocore unlike most folks who are quick to toll harsh judgment at someone at the top of their game. She may or may not have been on drugs. Who knows. But I find it ironic that many people who self righteously blame her death on taking drugs are the same people who suffer from equally bad habits and short comings in life.
http://omg.yahoo.com/news/family-brittany-murphy-was-ill-days-before-death/32971?nc LOS ANGELES - Brittany Murphy was ill with flulike symptoms in the days before her death and prescription medications were taken from her home, the Los Angeles coroner's office said Monday. The 32-year-old star of films such as "Clueless" and "8 Mile" died Sunday morning after collapsing at her Hollywood Hills home. Paramedics tried to revive her, but she was pronounced dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Police said there was no evidence of foul play. Assistant Chief Coroner Ed Winter said they will conduct an autopsy Monday to try to determine what killed the actress, and said her death appeared to be from natural causes. He said the illness, reported to officials by her family, could have contributed to her death, but it will be weeks before a final determination is made. Toxicology tests will be performed, and officials will contact her personal physician to get a better sense of Murphy's medical history, Winter said. Neighbor Clare Staples said she saw firefighters working to resuscitate the actress Sunday morning. She said Murphy was on a stretcher. Murphy's husband, wearing pajama bottoms and no shoes, appeared "dazed" as firefighters tried to save her, Staples said. "It's just tragic," she added. Police investigators went to Murphy's home Sunday to launch a standard death investigation. Detective Wendi Berndt, who supervises the Los Angeles Police Department's homicide unit in Hollywood, said there was nothing to indicate suspicious activity.
Wow I thought MJ would serve as a wake up call to celebs and to ppl in general. But to use the same painkiller is a bit irresponsible..
from a personal view, I wouldn't consider dying from diabetes or heart attack "natural causes". not at age 32. would you? i agree with you about a healthy lifestyle. i don't know who you are referring to who suffer from the habits you describe. regarding Murphy, how many bizarre appearances and fluctuating weight changes are necessary to determine whether one has gone of the deep end? she was notoriously known for being a drug addled starlet like many before her. this was a stigma already attached to her. her family has not come out regarding any heart disease, only flu-like symptoms when she died. perhaps she had a weak immune system because she treated her body like crap. again, it is my non-medically based opinion that dying of a heart attack at 32 is not from natural causes.
