From what I've heard, Justin is more likely to be saying 'just shut up and suck'. Yoko and Linda: OK, Linda is a *terrible* singer (I've heard her soundboard stuff isolated - *yikes*), but she was a good photographer. And Yoko is incredibly annoying as a person, but her art is, I think, pretty cool in parts. The performance stuff where each member of the audience cuts a piece of her clothing off with scissors? Neat idea. And the infamous Indica Gallery exhibition where John met her sounds cool too. And I like 'Walking on Thin Ice' and 'Kiss Kiss Kiss'. Yeah, she's a pain in the ass, but not a totally untalented one.
I saw an interview with one of the lead singers of the Australian female 'popstars' band, BARDOT (there are five girls in the band). The interviewer asked her 'Who writes the music for your band?" And she replied, "There are two of us who write the music and songs." The interviewer then said, "Kind of like John and Paul?" Then she said, "Who were they?" How can you be in the music industry and not know of John and Paul?? Maybe she was just nervous, or mis understood the question. I dunno, it sounded funny at the time.
It doesn't have anything to do with intelligence.She probably was just never exsposed to these people.
I'm 19 and I know who Yoko and Linda are, but I also know a hell of a lot of people my age who don't. So I don't think Britney's not knowing is such a big deal
I'm her age and I know who they are. I've known for a few years now, even before listening to The Beatles.
