Gasol's resume doesn't reflect how he might play when he is the 2nd option and seeing a lot of single coverage. He might play like trash but I doubt it. He is tall, long and skilled. I think he will get his.

haiz, then please refer to the Rox rosters playoff resume. Only Deke and BJax have some kind of a resume.

But i rather have a Lakers team with a 50% Bynum to a jazz team that have no injury worries.

What we NEED is the matchup that makes it easiest for McGrady to score, because he's going to need to go off while the team D kicks in to slow down the other team.

    Against the Lakers
    FG% 39.5
    FTA 6.7
    PPG 16.7
    AST 4.0
    RB 3.3
    TOs 2.0

    Against the Jazz
    FG% 52.9
    FTA 8.5
    PPG 34.0
    AST 6.5
    RB 5.0
    TOs 2.5

Jazz looks a better matchup there

The flipside is that our 'second scorer' (Rafer) seems to prefer the Lakers (15.7ppg vs 8.0 against the Jazz)

But then Scola says 'give me Utah' averaging 34 minutes, 12.5 and 7.5 vs 16 minutes, 5.7 and 5.3

Battier has nobody to guard when we play Utah, so he shoots 52% against them

Head figures to be a non-playoff factor against either of those teams (1.0 and 2.3 ppg) and wishes we had the Wizards (42points in 2 games)

Bobby "I'll guard Deron" Jackson has only made 2 of 10 shots against the Jazz this season, while he doesn't seem to mind the Lakers (8.3 ppg)

Carl hasn't played against the Lakers and only once against the Jazz, so he could be a surprise packet

Chuck Hayes got 19 rebounds in 2 games against the Jazz, but a similar number against the Lakers

But the deciding factor could be Stevie Novak - hasn't missed a shot against the Jazz this year (10ppg) and hasn't played a minute against the Lakers. If you wanna see big Stevie in the playoffs you better be hoping we get the Jazz!

For the record, Boozer and Williams shoot 43% and 40% respectively against us!

My vote is for the Jazz!
