It's not going to happen but I do find that this years squad seems terribly undisciplined for some reason esp. late in games. That being said there were a lot of games under JVG were we suffered 4th quarter collapses. I was a big fan JVG as a coach when he was here but this type of thing has happened before.
JVG isn't going to make AB, Martin or Scola good defenders. What he might do is play a ton of zone and probably not play Hill at all while limiting Budinger's minutes. Also probably force feed Yao the ball EVERTIME down the court and make sure the team got back on transition "D". Oh yea and probably sign Allan Houston out of retirement to play backup 3.
well, our D would be better, but we'd still collapse...its a combo of coaching and the way we play...
See, thats what I'm talking about right there. JVG is the only one who could turn these poodles into pit bulls.
Yeah, let's have him back. For 2 years, to work on our defense. Then in 2012, when we're all sick of winning ballgames 73-71 after an epic defensive battle, we'll reinstate Adelman for some free-flowing offense. Then in 2014, switch back to JVG. Then keep the cycle repeating until we can play both offense and defense.
