Of course JVG can't come in and fill those needs, which has more to do with why we lost last year than who our coach was. Rehiring JVG wouldn't necessarily fix us, though I think we would have a better record to this point. Kind of a moot point though since I see zero chance of a coaching change without at least one full year. At the same time thinking that getting a new coach, independent of roster changes, was going to take us from middle of the pack to favorites was wishful thinking as well. We were closer to over achieving last year than under achieving considering the injuries to Yao and Tmac over the course of the season and the lack of general talent on the roster outside of our two stars.

Yao never b****ed about JVG. That SINA article was complete fabrication. All he said was he thought Snyder should have been given a chance, if the article is true.

I can guarantee you the ROckets did not lose to Utah in game 7 because Kirk Snyder didn't play.

Yao did complain about JVG and not giving Snyder a chance.

Funny how everyone thinks the Yao Sina articles are now genuine but the ones that criticize their Man lover are fake.

Has Yao complained about Rick Adelman directly? Or are you guys extrapolating out his comments.....HMMMMMMM??

    WTF ever.

I never believe anything I read from SINA. Those translations are too hilarious to be true.

Yao criticized the team in the CHRONICLE. Not SINA. Yes, he said something to SINA, but I didn't believe it until the Chronicle confirmed it later.

Yao has yet to criticize RA. Same with Tracy.

And back to Snyder. He sucks. That's why he didn't play vs Utah. Maybe he should have played the last 4 minutes instead of TMac and we would have won if we ran our offense through Yao more, but whatever. JVG was all over TMac. That was the one fault I had with him.

thats what happened in the real world, but DD gets a bit delusional about some things.

Yeah, I am sure Sina made up the article...just like this year where they had been saying that Yao was complaining a few days before the Chronicle.

Newsflash, the Chronicle writers are mouthpieces for the franchise, Sina not so much.

I'm really glad JVG guys are getting off now.

A simple second round playoff appearance may be viewed as an improvement by some, but I'd rather see real improvement.

"Win Now" has been a complete failure for 6 years now. At least now there's a new imprint on it these days, even if it's very ugly.

The only writers I trust and like a lot are Fritz, Adrian Wocjiewsi (something like that for Yahoo), and Bill Simmons.

again.."complain" is hardly an accurate term for what was really said as I remember. post the article if you really believe it is that blatant. Better yet, post the whole damn audio. we all know quotes can be made to look it says anything.

Didnt. yao also said that he would like to have jvg back.

Regardless of all that...kirk snyder?! Man, you never give up do you. first v-gina...now kirk.

    too much ! :D

yup. advancing in playoffs is nice and all, but there are other variable to consider, rather than a simple generalization of getting to the 2nd round.

    I don't want a new imprint if it's .500.

I cant remember the last time I saw the guys play a good game. Im fiending over here.

No - do not blame that loss of the series on Snyder. The blame should be shared-players an coach alike

Hey knucklehead, it was Yao who said Kirk Snyder not me.

You and Sam never fail to leap to a different context when in discussions...amazing.

so, in other words...you don't have the source, a complete and unedited source? Seems like a simple enough request.

that's all I needed. But thanks for the engaging response.

Yeah there are sources, go dig it up yourself. Just read the Sina translations after the Jazz loss.

And at least my engaging response was to the relevant point.

sure. I'm sure there are a bunch of great sources out there. Sina translations huh? oh, those are never poorly interpreted :D

does heresay with out and support mean relevant.

using your "argument" yao insulted RA when he said he feels like he is on a new team and that it is soft. He totally bashed Adelman...It is his team! At least thats what you should say if you were consistent and not biased toward a particular coach.

I do think that is EXACTLY what Yao was saying and he is indeed bashing Rick Adelman.

Now what was your point again?

my point is that at least you are consistent with your overexaggeration and interpretation of small quotes with little context :D

My, My, My! Things have certainly gotten a bit testy around here. That sure was a short honeymoon for RA who just a few months ago was officially hailed as a real coach who was to lead the Rox to the NBA's promised land (AKA round 2 of the playoffs). After all, wasn't what had happened for the previous 4 years ALL JVG's fault? Just where did all the Adelman love go?
