BRING BACK GUNDY!!!!!!!!!!!

Im a former ballboy and I witnessed both JVG and Adelman practices. JVG would go over every detail of ever player on the other team down to what foot they would jump off of. The preparation was incredible.

Adelman barely speaks at practice. He has a different assistant go through the game plan each game. And it's ridiculous how little they know about the other team. I **** you not one time Elson Turner said before the Rockets played the Magic "Uh and they have Garrity uh I'm not sure if he even plays anymore but he can shoot the 3 so we will have to guard that.

Bottom line JVG is a way better coach than Adelman. It's a shame he's gone

 

He never got us out of the 1st round because we had garbage players for hi to coach. The one time we hd a good team, he got screwed by the refs. Any other time, we had old busted up T-mac and Yao to deal with annually.

 

Morey's money saving moves are not very money saving when the attendance will drop to 50% by midseason and be an all time low record and ultimately make them lose alot more money.

When Adelman first came we did not lose our defense.

So what I have learned in this thread.

We were never embarrassed while Van Gundy was our coach( False check out some of our playoff games)

We lost all our defense when Adelman came in(False)

Van Gundy is a better offensive coach than Adelman(lmao)

You can't make some of this **** up smh. If Van Gundy coached these group of guys we would all be b****ing about the offense and we still would be bad.

 

Interesting and a little disturbing. How many practices were you able to watch?

 

It is a fact that Adelman does not teach defense. We were still playing Van Gundy's game when Adelman took over and every year since the defense has gotten worse. This team has all the offense it needs, just no defense. It shows if you are really paying attention.

 

This team would still be ass if Van Gundy is the coach. You know why?

BECAUSE WE HAVE NO CLOSER ON THIS DAMN TEAM!

 

i don't care if we bring in gundy or not, but this rockets team has the weakest defense i have seen in a long time.

anybody who can get this team to play defense would be a start... these losses are not only frustrating, but the way they are losing? embarassing...

Wouldn't need a clser so much if we could stop the other team from scoring so much with DEFENSE.

So explain why his Sacramento teams played good defense?

Was he living off JVG's defensive schemes in Sacramento too?

 

Think about it. How is it that this team currently is one of the highest scoring teams in the league and has only won 3 out of 12 games? Because they don't play defense!!!

 

And they don't score at the end of games either.

 

This is Houston. This has nothing to do with Sacramento 7-8 years ago. We are getting our asses kicked now. Tell me where his so called defense is now. You can't because he can't!
