4ever- Glad to see you are a Rockets fan first and a Francis fan second...as am I. As I said, I do agree that Van Gundy is a problem and not a solution. The sooner Phil Jackson gets here the better. As for the season, I think the reason for the slow start was honestly Tmac's reluctance to become the focal point on another team and be labeled a 'selfish' player again. Upon arrival, I'm sure Tracy expected to defer to Yao, as the move was made presumably to get Yao more shots. Once Tmac, and the rest of the world, figured out this team would be much better off with Tmac as the leading man, his (and the team's) production began to truly take off. I feel this should be Tmac's team, and that Yao, while not quite in the Olajuwon/Shaq/Duncan class of bigman, will make an exquisite second banana for McGrady. A team built around Tmac and Yao is still championship-worthy with the right coach and supporting cast. I think this team is very capable of finishing 5-6 games above .500, let's say a 44-38 record. If that's not good enough for the playoffs, I'm all for a complete rebuild with young players and Phil Jackson surrounding Yao and Tracy.

That's not true at all...I have been watching the Rox religiously for about 9 years now...I can say confidently that over those 9 years there have been only about 25-30 games that I didnt either watch or listen to.....so %$@ off
