Franchise, both Fortson and Davis would be going as high picks in the first round of the common draft if they find their way to the submit list. Fortson was drafted as #9 this season and Davis was not even in the draft. I also feel that Nomar got a steal with Fortson at #9.

I guess you get to pick up 2 players so Magloire should be available from Hornets. What Jackson are you talking about?

Lynch was starting for me in the beginning of last year and produced good numbers, and will be a nice piece for your team this year. The others have not found themself in a starting position on my team but I believe they can produce when given minutes on your team. I also believe that you will be better of with more picks when rebuilding than the two high ones you give up. This will be an 8 for 4 deal and Radojevic was just a body I needed back to give up Geiger. He will be buried on my IR for most of the time.

do we as GM's choose or does it do it automatically

You pick your starting 5, and give your depth chart, ala:

C: Dream, Battie
PF: Camby, Swift, Lynch
SF: Marion, Patterson
SG: Payton, McKie, Glover
PG: Bibby, Nash

You can also specify players for more than one position. You can specify a starter for a position back up another position, or have a player back up more positions. Check my latest roster moves in the roster thread for a further example.

The starters will play 30-40 minutes depending on the backup they get, fouls, stamina etc. The first few guys of the bench will play around the same amount (15-20 mins), but you can specify who is your sixth man etc. Cat will do it based on your depth charth if you do not tell him, so you are safe no matter what. (The latest example in the roster thread is the first time I have specified a 6th man etc in hopes of getting some extra minutes for some players but it will probably not make that big of a deal.)

Swift is one of the hardest guy for me to deal. I think I will keep him atleast until the playoffs are over. (I will only move him in the season for another player I covet as I feel he could be an important piece for my future.)

If I should think about a scenario where I dealt him to you during the season it would come up something like this (and I don't think you will like it)

I think the roster addition should be ok. Don't see any problem although I didnt know Jackson was available, but its much I don't know. (He probably is avaialable as a cut player from one of the drafts).

I think The Cat will be around at some time during the evening, but if he will do a sim session I don't know. Expect around 3 sessions a week - that is what weve been doing until now. So we can always hope for a session today as we didnt have one yesterday.

(We have had sessions 27/6, 25/6, 23/6, 20/6, 18/6, 16/6 and 14/6.)

I'm putting some serious thought into trading McDyess either now or after this season. I'm just curious who would be interested in him and what you'd be willing to cough up for him?

I'm looking for a solid starting SG and a solid C and PF.

I'd of course would be willing to throw in extra players (not any of my young studs though, McDyess is good enough).

I'm just curious who here would be interested in him?

Note: I'm not trading him because he's dissapointing or anything, I just want to move Nowitzki to PF and Kukoc down to SF and get a solid SG in return.

You can only pick 2 Free Agents. We need the rest of the players for the non-GM teams that still play the games and therefore need a roster. The rest of the Free Agents is also needed for other GM's that join later.

One problem. You do not have James Posey - someone grabbed him before you joined as you now pick Magloire and Jackson.
