They definitely would. Amen is a keeper. I would entertain trading Sengun

Maybe trade for a star player who will be out all of next year? Haliburton or Tatum? We’ll still be competitive next year but will really be set long term.

While I agree with this… Boston fans would rather trade Jaylen Brown ….white is viewed almost as untouchable as Tatum for them

After the injury he shouldn't be......Klay and Durant were never the same, Durant turned into a jump shooter, still very good but not what he once was.

Maybe they give Tatum the benefit of the doubt and have him retire there with no pressure.

We got the star in KD, don't need Yawnis.

Is Jaylen Brown akin to A-Rod for Celtics fans?

I think gutting the team is what people are afraid of happening.

If Sengune goes, then You have to keep Jabari. If Jabari goes, you have to keep Sengun.

If Reed Sheppard is included in the trade, then you have to pull back on some of the draft compensation going out to the Bucks.

The Rockets must be aware that not all that shines is gold. Hence the old cliche, “that’s why they play the games”

Even with Amen, Durant, and Giannis, there is no guarantee that this tandem would win a title or much even be cohesive in the regular season. An injury can implode the “all in mentality”.

Too much is when you mortgage your future and present, and there is no signs of light for the next 5-8 years, if there is as much of a hiccup in this parlay group.

I don't think we should make anymore major moves. By the time KD retires our young core will only be 25 years old. We can sign another superstar + the draft picks and be good to go. We should be major contenders for next 10 years.

I agree with you on the first part. I don’t think KD is going to retire in 3 years unless he’s injured.

I wanted KD over Giannis for the simple fact KD would be cheaper. I don’t want to gut this team I think we have something special. No doubt I would be excited for Giannis either way but if I could choose I’d roll with what we have and maybe try to add a veteran guard at some point who can murder the 3 ball.

Giannis and Jaylen Brown would have totally changed the structure of this team. remember how the Suns gut their team to chase the "big 3" that turned a 64 wins team into a total disaster?
Alpy+Tari/Bari+KD+Amen, i think the starting front court is set. maybe a little upgrade in the back court, depending on FVV's contract situation and Ime's plan on how to construct a new offense surrounding Alpy & KD.
personally i'd prefer a better and more steady shooter in the backcourt. maybe a FVV for Zach LaVine straight up trade that won't cost any of the young core neither any of the draft capital. also the Suns are trying to get rid of Grayson Allen & Royce O'Neale, maybe use Landale+Holiday's non-guranteed contracts to get one of them. or use MLE to sign a shooter in the free agency, like Gary Trent jr. or Brogdon (if healthy). CP3 on this team would also do wonder if can be had for cheap.

I don't think we should do a Giannis Trade bcuz that will completely dismantle what we have with these young players. It will have to include Senguin, Jabari, Reed and about 5 or 6 first round picks and swaps. I would rather add Malik Beasley or Gary Trent Jr with free agent deals (10 - 15 mil) to upgrade our shooting. Also will make a call to Washington for Krispert. Assuming Fred's Team Option is declined and he is signed for a Team friendly multi year contract (17-20 mil per year for 3 yrs) and also Jock's contract is non guaranteed (8 million) which can be used in a trade to upgrade the SG or back up PG

Ime is helping Amen develop as we speak…. Hopefully he does the same with Cam and Reed now. I sort of thought maybe JG was in the way of Cam. He provides us with some of the same attributes as JG but Cam is bigger and is more efficient. KD will help Cam in a major way this year. With that said, I would look to trade FVV and maybe one of our future picks for someone like Derek White or LaMelo Ball.

They had a scrappy guy like Bruce Brown to fill out many gaps on the Nets team. Harden, Durant, and Westbrook aren't that tight knit anymore and their 2012 days are a distant past.
