I'd trade a Sengun package for Giannis

Can Fertitta first sign Giannis to a NIL deal to get the Cougars over the hump for a national championship? Five or six months of work then he can come back to the Rockets for the playoff run.

Using some prelim common public knowledge, it's fair to predict Giannis will end up in Texas by the 2026 trade deadline

Using "prelim common public knowledge" (and also common sense), it's fair to predict Giannis will be gone from the Bucks before training camp.

no; i think Giannis is too ball dominant, it could re tard the growth of Wemby

at that time, Clips had just signed Kawai and wanted Paul George badly.
Thunder insisted on the young phoenom SGA or elso no way.

Clipper got clipped with the Paul Geroge sign n trade; in addition to giving up SGE,
    • traded
      • four unprotected first-round picks,
      • one protected first-round pick and
      • two pick swaps to the Oklahoma City Thunder

Seriously? Because once he decided he wanted out, Giannis isn't going to Bucks training camp. Simple as that. He'll never wear a Bucks jersey again.

The only domino left to fall is the draft lottery tonight, then all cards are on the table. IMO, there is a >50% chance the trade happens before the draft on June 25th.

That might very well be how it plays out, but if Giannis tells them he wants to go to 1 team and only 1 team and that team gives a low-ball offer, it will absolutely drag into the season.

You don't what would happen if he demanded one team only. A "lowball offer" for Giannis is unlikely. We aren't talking Dame Lillard here.

My point is he ain't going to camp with the Bucks, which takes the February 2026 deadline completely out of picture.

I think we would have to gut the team for Giannis and don’t want him if that’s the requirement. On the other side of it, if they do make the move, we would be a contender for sure.

So how does it play out if he says he wants to go to Heat or Lakers, but OKC, Spurs give a godfather offer
