Unless Kevin Durant has 100% agreed and signed preliminary documents to come to Houston, there is no way in hell Morey would be dumb enough to pull a 2015 Sac Kings deal to give up first round draft picks to get rid of a contract that really isn't THAT bad. Corey Brewer is bad, but the contract has two years left on it at 7.5 mil per. Nobody is dumb enough (hopefully) to think that the 12th pick in the draft is going to be the next great Rockets superstar, but there is no point in giving away what could turn out to be a solid player for the future just for the option of wasting cap space potentially on an overpaid Marco Bellineli type. Because after Durant, and Horford are off the board in July, its slim pickings.
I hope and pray that we move on from Morey and his team. We have give him more then enough time to deliver a winner with minimal success. Thank you for bring the analytical edge to the team but forgot that relationships are an integral part of team success. Good luck in your next role
I wouldn't call the first Western Conference Finals appearance in about 17 years last season while key members of the team were out for huge stretches "minimal success." I'd call it great progress. Don't ask me what this season amounts to. I'm still considering how to do myself in due to abject despair.

Good no good pick this year at the range we'd be picking and can't net a good rotation player unless you include Ariza with the 12th pick.
Reading comprehension classes start next week, be there! Glad to hear Brewer is recovering a solid couple weeks of rest is just what he needs. Heck, take the whole summer off starting now. DD
