one out triple for Mike Lamb.

Both batters this inning have really thumped the ball, we might be getting to Sheets today.

EDIT : Lane sends Lamb home with a double smacked off the wall. Three straight hard hit balls.

RBI double by Lane. I can't believe that ball stayed in the yard.

Complete game, 4 hits, 1 run on less than 100 pitches. Well done Roy.

There's an alarming amount of play-by-play in this thread despite castor's warning!

Sorry, I just had to hate a little bit. Great performance by the Wizard.

    SOMABITCH!
How did I not watch this game?! Damnit, it sounded like a doozy!

:( I thought they had the day off.

I kind of like some of the PBP, it's not like Basketball that takes a bazilion pages.

When I was in Saudi, one of my favorite things to do in the morning was read the posts (PBP) in the astros game threads, and then seeing the WHOO HOO's etc. cheers from the other posters. :)

A little update here and there is fine. So and so doubles, somebody just homered, type stuf is ok. THe pbp which i refer to was what occured in a few threads last year. We had people posting every pitch and every at bat. I don't have a problem with updates, especially for those who can't see the game but every pitch /and or every ab is way too much.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I think at times I was one of those people that typed too much, in the form of PBP.

I'll try to cut down. I like the HR and doubles thing etc, and typing when we score.

It's almost better than a recap article those out of towners.

After last night's game, Everett now has a higher batting average than Renteria and is only 25 points behind Orlando Cabrera.

That it's much too early in the season to count a player or team out.

I am sure no one ruled him out (the law of averages always kicks in eventually). We all love Adam (at least I know I do) but my problem is his batting slot. I feel it does him more un-good [sic] than good.

We have a prototype leadoff guy in Willie - lets use him as such.

Watching the Cubs vs Cards game now. The Lizard mind boggingly slotted Lee (the hottest Cub) in the 6th slot.....6th slot for crying out loud. And now it looks like the Cubs will lose in large part because of that.

You know baseball enough to agree that nuanses like that can throw your team out of grove and cost your team runs/timely hits.

Everett will be perfect for us in the 7th slot and Willie in the 1st. Lets ride the hot hand and a more suited leadoff guy. Willie is ready to leadoff.

Baggy is struggling bad. I feel bad for him. He is now hitting below 0.226 for the season.
